i know nothing of the AV’s and other places Y/you A/all speak of as i go to other chats.

BUT, i think Dyer is trying to impose his/her views on others. Why can’t S/someone live their life as they choose to? Are we NOT in a free country where W/we as adults can CHOOSE what W/we do with our lives? When someone stumbles across something that is unknown or foreign to them, it immediately becomes abnormal because it goes against THEIR way of thinking. But what they do not understand is that the life someone chooses is not abnormal for that person. If being a sub/slave or a Dom/me is how a person is happy and how they want to live their lives, then so be it. Let it go – Don’t try to impose your beliefs on someone. In this lifestyle i have NEVER seen ANYONE – be it Dom/me or sub/slave – impose their views on someone and try to incorporate their lifestyle on a “nilla” person.

Now… in this life(BDSM) there is the preconception that what we are is a cult or a bunch of abusers. That is not the case. The news stories you hear about – THEY are the abusers. Everyone in the lifestyle(at least everyone that i know)goes by the code SSC.(and if Y/you don’t know what SSC means, you shouldn’t be in the life)

I also have read the Gor novels chere, and no where did it state “Women can NOT be Mistress’s” the simple fact that there are various laws discussed regarding a free womans treatment of her slaves, and the slaves of others PROVES that Mistress’s DID indeed exist on Gor.

The unfortunate part of this is to me, the confirmation that people read, then only take away from what they read those things that support thier own preconceptions.
I do not know camille’ if you have a place in out lifestyle, or have spent any time visiting. If you did, One thing you WOULD find (And i say this with cheeks burning in Modesty) is, I associate with Gorean Masters and I Have their respect, and their admiration (And in some cases their fear as well).
