Perhaps he still is right. While many mafias run on the principle of hate, mafias still do have some form of loyalty where we don’t have to bribe our members with 25k to move objects. Unfortuantely, it seems to me that the SSU is not sophisticated enough to call itself a mafia. A mafia, at least, EMBRACES and ACCEPTS the fact that it gets it power through hate – via trashing houses and “hitting” people, aka hacking if necessary depending on some mafias. The SSU, on the other hand, claims to hate mafias and hate lethargy. If you hate laziness, why are you trying to steal power? If you decided to STOP being lazy and actually ESTABLISH power and EARN respect for yourself instead of taking it in a coup, perhaps youd be more successful. In fact, your trying to steal this power just proves how successful Mr. Pres has truly been.

There are democracies, theocracies.. and in this case there are hypocricies.

I told him it was a bad move to promote something with such a negative public opinion. I told him it wasn’t smart to go about trashing properties to get what you wanted. And yet, I was entirely ignored.

Ian, Fans: You guys understood the implications of starting a group like this. You did it anyway, which leads me to one big question… why?

The answer couldn’t be simpler. You despised the AVG. Don’t try to mask this organization with “we’re trying to make AV better.” This organization was founded for the sheer purpose to ruin the AVG, and it has been the ONLY thing it has done since its founding. Rather than truly trying to do something to help the community, you got a giant gang together to beat up the only organization that is actually doing something relatively good for the community.

Ian, in the past you have called me “buddy-buddy” with Mr-President. I would like to clear this up. My goal, as it has been from day one, is to see that Alphaville is the best city it can be. Mr-President has created an organization that has fulfilled a need in Alphaville. He has given the community something to be proud of. If someone else had done that, I would have been equally supportive of them. Regardless of whether he plays 24-7 like you do Ian, at least he puts all of his energy to try and make this game a better place.

I don’t think Ian or his lackies are out to really do anything significant on TSO…they’re probably just looking to pass the time like all of us. He wants to be part of a group – group = power, right Ian? It always amazes me what some people are willing to do just to gain acceptance – these sacrifices usually equate to their downfall. It does bother me how quickly they step behind the ‘innocence’ of ‘just roleplaying’, but that’s someone else’s poor parenting they’ll have to own.

On a side note: sounds like Fans has life figured out pretty well also. God I miss those days!
