Walker, I noticed you “locked a thread” responding to a story here. Is this a new practice? And old, and seldom-used practice you intend to make more use of?

That, and a story that sounds more like it belongs in Hamlet’s blog than here, and I’m feeling a terrible amount of chagrin.
