		<description>As always it is really hard to know what, if anything this means, given that access to SL is free.  But it is worth noting that this comes a year before Philip predicted it would, as the Herald exclusively reported in June of 2004:

At the time people thought a million users by 2007 was out of reach, and obviously even the Lindens didn&#039;t completely believe it, because now they find themselves *totally* unprepared for the onslaught of new users.

I think a lot of people will be impressed with more than 12k concurrent residents.
