The Guardian is not known as a bastion of fact-checking. Right after Hurricane Katrina, they published a story about Navy attack-dolphins accidently getting loose off the coast of New Orleans.

They quoted one source for this story–Leo Sheridan. Had they put Sheridan’s name into Google, they would have discovered that he features prominently on museumofhoaxes.com.

I’ve caught them in another fact-checking problem–they said Miss England 2005, who is Muslim, claimed she received death-threats, which she denied when I intereviewed.

By the way, I would like to announce that I have just created the first, what I like to call, ‘e-journal’. Catchy word, eh. Basically, it is my journal, but it is available on the Inter-net. I believe that someday the world might be full of these Inter-net journals.
