Instead of saying “individuals running these organizations,” I should have been more specific and said, “the CEO’s of each organization.” My mistake.

First off, the income for Mr. John R. Seffrin in the report you cited was from September 1, 2002 – August 31, 2003. Follow the asterisk next to his name and you’ll see it.

I know I read a couple of articles in the newspaper last year about the incomes because I was complaining about it to a friend. But, I’ve searched the net and can’t find anything to back up my words.

The ACS 2005 financial report doesn’t list individual income amounts paid (unless I’m just blind) and I can’t find anything more recent than that 2003 report you linked to. In the four years since though, I bet substantial raises have been given.

I don’t want to eat my words, but if I have to I will choke them down.

The point though… way too much income for charitable organization employee.

Granted that the Chief Executive is making quite a bit ($760,953) but I don’t see millions there. Where are you getting that there are several individuals getting several milloions of dollars each?

Umm hate to break it to you Nacon but this is SL not RL. Wald Oh is NOT REAL. Can’t you come up with anything better than that? I’m pretty sure that most of us in the ADULT grid know that nobody is going to be harmed when this is over with..whether they come up with the money or not. Geez, maybe they should of put a little follow up at the bottom of the note that no AVATARS will be actually hurt, just in case people get confused when it comes to SL and RL.

Hey Just Cat, don’t get me started on the united way – now there is charity NOT to give to – give to the individual charities they have listed because thats the only way they will see any real money. If i am not mistaken back in the 80′s the CEO of united way was charged with stealing from the company even with his multi million dollar salary and fled the country – or something along those lines.
