When a guy I know who makes cars puts out a Porsche in SL, he doesn’t put the logo on it but it is still easily recognizable. And yet no one gets freaked out. No one demands to have a sign up stating that this prim car was inspired by Porsche. What for? As a consumer I could care less whether or not it’s “inspired” by a real life item. If I like it, i’ll buy it and that’s all. I really think all the bitching and moaning people do about sl fashion only happens because people want to bitch and moan, and not for any other legitimate reason. No wonder so many people like Torrid Midnight hate it and have left the sl fashion scene completely.

I also did not realise about the hazy lines in there past few collections I’m still fairly new to SL.

As for saying Tenshi is he queen bitch I’d like to correct you. Iv known her for somewhat of a short time but I can safely say she was possibly the most level headed back stage. She also one of the nicest people I’ve had dealings with.

A lot of peoples comments about Tenshi seem to stem from the fact that its easy to be a hater. Its seems trendy to have an evil blogger. In fact by everyone singling her out you no better than the things she said about Sabrina.

As for the closed of sim again I was really the one who pushed that idea and I’m willing to say I think the right people were there, yes it was a shame it wasn’t more of a public thing but the photos are all on ana lutias blog.

Putting your own spin or using something as inspiration means major changes or incorporating parts into a larger piece.

Linking to designers on your blog is not being upfront about it. Not to mention didn’t they post sketches of their “designs” on a blog before their grand opening? That is misleading at best. It’s not suprising that it came as a shock and dissapointment to most people that they were doing this. Being upfront is on the bloody sign saying “inspired by,” “imitation of,” or “replica of.” That is really all many of us consumers want.

“If you’re upset that you weren’t invited to the show, I’m sorry.” Are we reading the same comments? Calling you out for your hypocrisy does not jealousy make. I’m sorry if you are really that full of yourself. 3 of the pictures posted have poses I made in them, so my work was represented even if not credited. Why then would I need or even want an invite?

There is no difference between what PC, EMJ and many others do. Witch hunting 1 and yet promoting another only shows the transparancy of your “convictions.” More specifically how you deem certain people above them.

Here, you adore PC when they do the EXACT same thing-and no, they give no references to the RL creators-here or at their stores.

Paper Couture at least tries to spin things into their own creations. I’m a bit of a fan of them, sure… but the people we pulled into the show had nothing to do with where our own associations lie. Marni was actually the one that pulled in Paper Couture, not me. Paper Couture also links to their inspiration, Dior, under their man tab-bar that anyone can view. They’re not attempting to hide what they’re doing. They state that they worship Dior, and that’s just fine. (http://houseoflu.blogspot.com/)

If you’re upset that you weren’t invited to the show, I’m sorry. We had limited space, but don’t attack me personally just because you’re jaded. I sent around notices to *many* designers, many that already had seaside-inspired wares – some accepted the invitation, some denied it. Casa Del Shai was the first to accept the invitation, and anyone that came after that came of their own free will. The invite notecard was copyable and transferable, so if a designer felt their friend should be involved, they could have easily received a copy of IM’d me for one.

The guest list turned out to be a closed event about a week before the show because even though MO Island is a class 5 sim, we were afraid of lag and crashing. Therefore, we invited a few bloggers and then asked anyone else who wanted to attend to RSVP beforehand. Many different people came, from all different walks of SL. This was hardly a secret event.

As for my article about EMJ and All Emerican, those two are places that do blatantly rip one particular designer or another off. I IM’d EMJ a while ago and asked him why on earth he would rip off Cartier as he did, and he just didn’t seem to grasp the concept of what I was saying. I did not “witch-hunt” up EMJ. Someone IM’d me, fairly outraged, with a “tip” on it. If you have another grievance with a SL designer, please, air it out. Don’t just sit there stinking up the joint.

Thats what makes her then immediate turn around and promoting a designer who’d be caught dead at one of her events even though that designer does (and should as far as I’m concerned – they do a great job) exactly what she’d just blasted a few days earlier.

Tenshi is a hanger-on who desperately wants to be a part of what she thinks is the “A-list” and she isn’t even subtle about turning her own opinions on their ear if it suits that goal.

But I am so, so entertained when she attempts to explain and bluster her way out it, so please, Herald, let me hear her response!
