I think my favorite part of this article is how many people don&#039;t seem to understand that I&#039;m obviously kidding. That&#039;s pretty damn funny right there.

Nope, in fact it&#039;s something that I&#039;ve come to expect from the Herald. Misinformation. It makes these articles and their moronic authors laughable. So, of course, my initial response was to point out you&#039;re wrong...and frankly, I&#039;m thinking you&#039;re just saying this now that everyone has pointed it out.

Nice try, though. Keep up the same usual incorrect work.

		<description>&quot;Calm down blinders. Murdoch hasn&#039;t bought the NYT yet, so you still have something to read.&quot;

Actually he has.

Gutted.

Anyway, I think most everyone above gets the joke. They are just giving examples to show how totally dumb that newspaper article was.

		<description>Onder, your article may have been intended as satire, but there was nothing in the article itself to indicate such. No wonder then that you received so many comments stating this is by far not the first time a live concert has been done on Second Life.

Imho, SL Herald pages should be reserved for media and not practical jokes.

Also Imho... it shows neither journalistic integrity nor confidence for the AUTHOR to moderate replies to his article rather than an editor or impartial mediary. Perhaps a little more professionalism might be shown in the future.

I think my favorite part of this article is how many people don&#039;t seem to understand that I&#039;m obviously kidding. That&#039;s pretty damn funny right there.

Umm funny? hmmm, not really, you just come off as a complete uninformed moron, which i am sure is the case 99% of the time anyway. The aussie article on terrorists in SL proves that journalist don&#039;t have a clue about Sl.
Of course we now know you are not a journalist (or even a competent poster) just a idiot goof who&#039;s article somehow got approved by the complacent Pix.

If it was a clever or well written piece that showed any intelligence then maybe one would realize it was meant as sarcasm. It is worded though that you have to believe the author thought it was true and desperate to get the word out.

I personally think (as do others i have talked with) that the author DID think what it was true and just after the fact reading the comments made the post about it being a joke to cover their ass.

So bravo and Pix and the herald for approving total fabrications which are completely insulting to the many many professional musicians that do live shows on SL almost daily. This shows the herald just willing to let itself sink deeper in their own slime as long as it get hits and comments.

I notice a later comment says &quot;first professional **orchestra** in the world to perform in Second Life&quot;. Now this may be true but Onder Skall did not report that and even if he meant to he later admits he was &quot;obviously kidding&quot; so no, he is just a moron.

		<description>Yet again, mainstream media blows it.

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra didn&#039;t say they were putting on the first professional concert in SL. The website for the orchestra says &quot; The RLPO will be the first professional orchestra in the world to perform in Second Life.&quot;. Note they specificy &#039;orchestra&#039;.

The Sydney Morning Herald didn&#039;t bother to report the story accurately. Typical.
