Good point. Why is it that being shot gives someone “street cred” anyway? Real street smarts are actually more likely to keep a person from being shot in the first place.

I can’t speak for anyone else on this but here’s what I don’t like about Fiddy:

1) He’s been shot 9 times, yet he still portrays the “thug life” as cool.

2) Like most rappers, his music is always about the same shit(whores, drugs, guns, and money). Rarely do you hear Fiddy and his ilk rapping about kids in the urban core who manage to stay out of serious trouble, get a scholarship, and go on to get a Master’s degree. Why is this? Because in the urban music subculture, this kind of story doesn’t sell CDs.
