Although if Oozef really needed to help his assistant, as stated in his journal, he wouldn't be writing "Oh no! Byron has moved the gurney too close to the torch and the creature is going wild! I must go help him to calm the….” I think Oozef would be jumping to aid Byron right away, wouldn't you? Not writing it down in his journal. I think the story is cute.
