I did not know Bunny all that well before the photo shoot, although we became acquainted through a social networking site. I found her to be an delightfully engaging and an absolute joy to work with, and she has since become a dear friend. When I posed for her as a bunny, I knew the storm of ridicule that would accompany the results of the photoshoot. I didn't care. Some of my friends spoke up in my defense, and while I love them for it, I neither expected it nor required it. Mouthbreathing bigots and armchair moralists exist because they have little else to offer our community, and I'd rather my friends spend their precious time creating wonderful things and devoting their psychic energy to positive people and pursuits. It's a little like telling off a griefer while he's pelting you with physical objects - it benefits no one and the griefer gets a stiffy from it.
