well, you have a great attitude and, imo, an avatar is no diff than a forum screen name. it’s just another way to communicate. at least isl, you can be creative and build stuff and hold meetings and do education (like 400 universities do)

Where is whatever you do available? I know you do some sort of crappy porn thing, but I’ve never seen it, which is probably a lot of why you apparently keep offering free services to the Herald that they don’t take you up on. reality check. the herald is notorious for propagating this type of behavior. It draws much needed attention and hence, traffic. chat log publishing, pitting folks against each other and general disrespect for acceptable RL behaviors runs rampant on this site. get use to it. LL doesn’t care nor will they expend any cost or energy to squelch the nonsense. what LL chooses to ignore others have banded together on in an effort to take appropriate steps against and squarely on the shoulders of those that have it coming (names omitted)

Its people like you and the vast majority in SL that keep counselors and psychiatrists FAT & SASSY, and rolling in the dough.

A few key points here, though. My REAL target here has always been Post 6, and the way it represents women. Insofar as Lusty and Emily both bear some responsibility for that, I have criticized them. It has never been about THEM, personally: when I have focussed upon them here, it has been about how they presented themselves in their Post 6 profiles. It has CERTAINLY never been about “hate.”

Lusty, I thought, showed real grace under pressure in her response to the postings on her page: I was impressed.

As for what has been directed at Emily here, and in-world, but especially the latter, I am frankly appalled. Being harassed in-world can be an enormously upsetting and disturbing experience (whatever “oh dear” thinks); as someone who has been the recipient of some pretty vicious harassment through IMs, I speak with some experience. Harassment IS about hate; it is, frankly, a form of psychological and emotional assault.

Emily has done NOTHING that warrants this kind of attack. I hope that she is responding vigorously through abuse reports. In the meantime, I ask everyone here to take a moment to gain some perspective on what this has really all been about.
