i met provoky in personal avatar in game! shes a nice old lady with tons of ideas and gives out free stuff to noobs and helps them on there way. we doubled eachothers inventory in passing XD. she about as close to a troll as a kitten is as close to a bulldozer. she DOESNT HAVE SOMEONE TYPING FOR HER she types her own mind and she said so when i met her. who ever wrote this article is fickled minded and failed to verify exact truth. proof is required, plus anyone that advocates illegal activity really doesnt deserve a job in a respectable company. I can understand someone wanting to vent their frustration at certain companies and sites, but seriously theres nothing that a prospective employer would want to know more than the political views of someone who organises against capitalism and the free market economy, its how the world works, after all. If I was an employer I would certainly want to know if a prospective employee advocated the use of DDOS attacks, because if they used my network to do that from within my company I could be held liable.
Regardless of whether or not you agree with the aims of some spotty faced kids and a few adults who never grew up that advocate bringing down capitalism, it just isnt going to happen in any century soon and the activities of anonymous are doing more to strengthen public opinion against them than any outside force could ever do.

It might be wise for you to take a break from the internet and get a sense of perspective on the matter. The serious business is done in offices and meeting rooms and starts the minute the boss says “jump”. Bosses pay a lot of money to people to keep criminals, and crappy little squirts who want to deploy LOIC all over there networks, out of their offices. And that is right, they arent so much sabotaging businesses in some idealistic vacuum, they are sabotaging their own careers in a highly monitored, ever increasingly regulated, internet.

Catlady Cathy went to a prospective employer of someone who was looking for a job and tried to convince them to not hire that person just because he ran an anonymous online message forums. Thats the kind of thing your girlfriend does there Mercury.

To me, that kind of childish retaliation seems illegal under the law. It should have merited a strong reaction at least from Anon. And yet… nothing…

Its not a lot different from putting out rental boxes, and then when someone tries to rent from you, you turn them into a “freakish little sniper of land” when they try to pay your rental box some money and rent a plot, not knowing that your girlfriend has a myriad of other things you have to do before you dare put money in the rental box and rent that parcel. Its ALL designed to cause conflict that can be reported on over at her blog which will drive advertising hits and keep the money coming in to Catlady Cathy…

What I love about this article is that there isnt a single comment above this one which displays even 1% of the intellect that prok uses in defence of her position within the video.
Its very laughable that everyone talks about her attack on 4chan and misses the entire point of what she said about that, which is that we cannot blame 4chan because 4chan is like times square, its just a meeting place, but what we can blame is the leadership of those running 4chan, but more than that we can blame those who acknowledge moot with accolades when he consistently fails to do something about his site being used in this way, and that 4chan cannot therefore be separated from those who meet there unless the leadership of 4chan separates itself from its users and does something to drive a wedge between those who use its site to organise criminal protests and the leadership. In other words 4chan is complicit in its silence. The main drive of the argument, however, was that regardless of any protests to the contrary that 4chan was involved, that actions speak louder than words and what people are judged by are not their words but their actions. She did not say that 4chan attacked anyone, what she did say was that 4chan is being used by criminals to vent criminal behaviour and 4chan was doing very little to stop that or distance itself from it and therefore if you study the site over time and its dynamics you learn that moot is in broad agreement with the tactics employed by those who did organise the attacks and so 4chan is complicit since it allows the place the attacks were organised to be used for that purpose and says little or nothing to discourage that behaviour.
She went on to say that until such time as 4chan alters that, then you have to blame people who should know better when they reward the behaviour with social status such as interviews in the media with moot, awards, etc etc.
If a few thickheads cant even watch the video without misrepresenting it then I am not bothered, but I know the two people appearing in that video have intellectual capacity far beyond anyone who posted above this comment, and I will take my analysis from them, not you

No wonder Second Life runs like shit. How can Second Life run if their employees are out in non linden lab forums talking smack?
Get your azz back to work and STFU jill or have Linden labs hire someone who will do their job.
