Tonight: Machinimists Tinker in SL

Well, it won’t be Cannes, but tonight will see BuhBuhCuh Fairchild hosting a Second Life machinima festival featuring five films created by residents within the world. The films are a mix of genres, from the narrative to educational travelogues/ (and hopefully at least one with guns). Admission’s free, and the event starts at 7pm Linden time in the Lukanida sim.
Thanks to Pierce Portocarrero for flagging this to us. Also be on the lookout next year (if all goes well) for Pierce’s own documentary following a year in the life of Second Life resident Nephilaine Protagonist as she builds her virtual fashion business into something very real. Or tries, anyway.
