Art in Areumdeuli

A new art gallery opens tomorrow night in Second Life’s Areumdeuli sim. The Phoenicia Gallery and Studio, located in the heart of Areumdeuli, will be run by colleagues Viola Bentham and Victor Newchurch, and will feature “original works by talented artists from SL and RL.” For its opening reception, kicking off on Friday at 6:00pm Linden time, the gallery will display “a selection of figure/nude and erotic photography by several New York-based photographers” (see sample at left). In-world copies will be available for purchase. A sneak peak by the Herald revealed a revealing but tasteful selection of images on the gallery’s walls. Get ‘em while they’re hot.
