Hello Grayness My Old Friend

Good Afternoon, everybody! This is Meteorologist Prokofy Neva high atop the Pharos Lighthouse in Ross bringing you Weather on the Ones!

Conditions remain unpredictable throughout the grid. Heavy thunderstorms of gray squares everywhere — the Lindens have to make *something* give to accommodate the huge influx of new citizens straining the Central Asset Asshat Server, and unfortunately *your view* is what has to go!

Allow 15 minutes when you land on your sim to allow the straining servers to catch up with your textures. If they never catch up…ermmm there’s always There? For when Here doesn’t Rez.

We’re also seeing squalls of Missing Texture as low pressure currents continue to move through the grid. Not everybody sees Missing Texture so take it as a sign of our fractured reality virtuality.

The game gods are whipping up stiff winds from the northeast, sending some sims spiralling into "mini-rollbacks" as sims are set back in time, unpaying rental boxes, returning furniture to Lost & Found (you hope) and undoing sim settings. Never build anything without naming its parts something other than "object" and taking a copy — quick!

Frequent thundershowers of Lag Spikes on the hour and 20 minutes after and 20 minutes of, as the Lindens work to back up and save their game monetarized socializing platform.

Club sims are reporting Time Dilation on its knees at 5-20 and FPS in the toilet at 10-13. Log off and maybe watch that old outdated media delivery system called Television?

Wow, being only a month old and, after my first week or so, seeing the sudden appearance of numerous white-clad avatars with writing across their torsos and thighs – I thought I was witnessing a new trend in sylish clothing. Who’d have thunk that the mysterious indecipherable lettering said simply “missing texture”?

So now that I realize it was not just the new fad, any bets on whether it will in fact become the next fad? SL’s version of deconstructionist protest fashion?
