BallerMoMo King, back in the day.

We continue our lead-up to the Herald third birthday party on Wed Thursday the 26th at 2PM, with a stroll down memory lane with some classic screenshots from the Herald archives.
Following are Uri’s choices for the top screenshots in the Herald library (which is to say that not all were taken by Herald photographers). Some are included because of their historical importance, some because of their formal artisitic value, and some because Uri just plain likes them. Below the fold, you will find them in more or less chronological order.

Ooops, I forgot we were supposed to be talking about GM, SONY, and Adidas and how SL and the metaverse is a cool-hunting marketing manager’s wet dream. Sorry, I lost my talking points.

Wow, seeing those old TSO screenies feels like looking at old Milton Berle shows, eh?

I like how we can see what appears to be a little Uri in the background of the BJJ one — altho I prefer the picture of him flying in the http://www.alphavilleherald.com/archives/000457.html article a lot more, the diagonal motion conveys movement and dynamicism.

It’s also one of the early pictures that compelled me to come in and play in Second Life. :)
