concert review

It’s Saturday night, and I love to go dancing – so I hit Search and go to the Events tab. And once there, this concert draws my attention – U2 Life in Second Life! I read on and – ooooh, it’s a role playing group. But still U2 – pretty cool. So I dress up and teleport to to Dragon Moon Resort.
Once there, the first thing I saw was a entrance, as if people would have to pay – and there are security people standing there – so I walked closer. One of the security officers talks up to me, asking if I would be so kind to take off all attachments, hair, boots… all. They do this so they can get more people in – I think there were about 70 people most of the time and they got 81 in for a little while.
So we took of our attachments and shoes, and where allowed to enter the grounds. Once inside, we found a huge field – on our left shops with t-shirts and U2 clothing, and even a hotdog stand.
But the main attraction was the stage. Everyone gathered in front of it, and awaited the arrival of the singers. 8 minutes passed before it started – then Bono and his group teleported in on stage and started singing right away. The music was great. And even the drummer winked to a few female visitors. Bono did a great show, the lights of the stage and the music all together made a great show. It lasted till about 5:30 pm, after that you could chat with U2 – of course everyone wanted to do that so it was a bit of a struggle. Then I went home and cherished the memory with the songs from the concert still in my head.
