[Editor’s note: SarahLouise Ellison... wow! What can I say? I met Sarah earlier this week when super-photographer Marilyn Murphy invited me to her studio. When I arrived I was speechless - something I know most people wish would happen more often. Sarah was so confident and cool and Marilyn showed why she is - as always - the legend and the visionary behind Players, SL’s in-world erotica magazine. I'm so glad to know that Sarah is here to stay.]
Well like many things I’ve experienced here this is definitely something new for me… I live just outside London and when I started out on SL it was just a couple of hours idle curiosity during my gap year to see what all the hype was about. I never dreamt that I would end up here posing naked for thousands of Second Life Herald readers…
There are so many things I’ve seen and done which circumstances mean it would be impossible for me to do in RL and I’ve been helped along the way by some really wonderful people. I’ve made some great friends from all over the world & some of them will probably be a little shocked when they see the photographs alongside this article (I’m actually quite shy about showing my body in public SL or RL – after all its still me, pixilated or otherwise…).
As experiences go SL has turned out to be a very intense one and not just a “game”, the people and emotions are very real and are something I certainly wasn’t prepared for when I started out. I think after a bit of newbie madness though I’ve finally settled down, I have my first job, my own little bit of land and done the one thing I expected least of all – to fall in love so deeply and completely with someone very special.
Alright I’ll admit it, I’m here to stay…
