Clear Blue Sea

I rezzed my ship on a clear blue sea
Under midnight stars and tranquility
Surrounded me and my solitude
Refreshed my mind and attitude

Then I set sail around the sim
Where mountains stand and fishes swim
I heard the splash of pixelled wave
The electronic call the seaguls gave

And when I shut down for the night
My pulse was slow and I was quite
Relaxed and ready for the bed
With dreams of peace, my tired head

Fell on the pillow soft and clean
And drifted off to silent dream
And who are we to ever say
What is real and what is play?

For everyone is everything
From avatar to diamond ring
From electrons floating in the air
To the color washed into our hair

From the planets floating in the sky
To God above us, and inside
We are all and all is one
And one is all and everyone.

There was a young fellow named Taylor
    Who seduced a respectable sailor.
When they put him in jail,
    He worked out the bail,
By licking the parts of the jailer.

I rezzed my dick on a clear blue sea
    Under midnight stars and tranquility
    Surrounded me and my solitude
Refreshed my parts with tons of lube.

This isn’t literary – its kitsch:

    from wikipedia:

“Because the word (kitsch) was brought into use as a response to a large amount of art in the 19th century where the aesthetic of art work was associated with a sense of exaggerated sentimentality or melodrama, kitsch is most closely associated with art that is sentimental; however, it can be used to refer to any type of art that is deficient for similar reasons—whether it tries to appear sentimental, glamorous, theatrical, or creative, kitsch is said to be a gesture imitative of the superficial appearances of art. It is often said that kitsch relies on merely repeating convention and formula, lacking the sense of creativity and originality displayed in genuine art.”
