Interview with former SSG General, Master Bam

In this interview I talk with Master Bam, formerly SSG four star general BAMWhatsInANameBAM. He has recently left the SSG and is forming an anti-SSG organization called NSSG (for New SSG). In this interview we cover his activities in SSG, his reasons for leaving and his plans for NSSG.

Urizenus: You used to be a member of ssg?
Master Bam: Yes for a long time
Urizenus: what was your position in ssg
Master Bam: Commander of the Crime Bureau and 4 Star general in everything else except intelligence…something I wasn’t born with
Urizenus: lol, what are the responsibilities of the Commander of the Crime Bureau
Master Bam: I set up the demo (Tearing down houses) of the real bad people…I usually just torn them down myself
Urizenus: How were you able to do that?
Master Bam: You be nice to the owner of the house or seduce them [by] being a girl (usually a bad guy being a male) and tell them your gonna build them something, then when they’re not there BOOM
Urizenus: How many houses did you demo?
Master Bam: For SSG probably about 20

Urizenus: who were some of the targets?
Master Bam: Mafia People, traders, Scammers just people playing unfair
Urizenus: did you hit Dorian Merrill?
Master Bam: No…I never disliked him, he was always a funny character…and yes it’s a Him I saw Snow’s chat
Urizenus: what about being a 4 star general, does that entail other responsibilities?
Master Bam: I was with War which was the tag portion basically and in the money one which was Financial and all the other stuff except the smarts
Master Bam: I called myself the balls of SSG
Urizenus: what did the financial group do?
Master Bam: Supplied money to people when we were expanding neighborhoods…I was surprised at how organized SSG actually was and it was fun till people left and *cough* Snow took over
Urizenus: was the money paid so that people would move into the neighborhoods?
Master Bam: To tell you sometimes it was…i guess that’s more of the underground of us
Urizenus: ok you say it stopped being fun when SnowWhite took over as Overlord. Why?
Master Bam: I’m not trying to be mean to Snow I mean she was a great friend of mine…I did have space for her in my heart but than she tore one of my friends (that I like more than her) apart and I saw her real side…She just doesn’t work as a overlord
Urizenus: tore apart a friend. how so?
Master Bam: Long story…Don’t wanna get into it
Urizenus: was it a member of ssg?
Master Bam: a big one
Urizenus: ic, and it was in her capacity as Overlord that she did this
Master Bam: it was actually the fight for overlord between them two
Urizenus: didn’t the decision belong to Mia Wallace?
Master Bam: Pfft Mia Wallace character is a joke…yeah it was his decision but he is just psycho
Urizenus: but he was overlord before Snow, and you seemed to like ssg before Snow
Master Bam: True…Him/her were fun and organized people but he threw it all away for SWG
Urizenus: so why is he (they) a psycho?
Master Bam: He cant make up his mind… actually the female part of they is quite fun. she is very normal
Urizenus: so you’re mostly mad because they left alpha for swg?
Master Bam: I suppose yes
Urizenus: so did you leave ssg or were you asked to leave?
Master Bam: I was gonna get kicked so I left…It was too unorganized to have a maniac running around like me and my girl Vica
Urizenus: what about the charges that you were a loose cannon?
Master Bam: Vica and I dont take crap from no one. we crap on everyone that thinks they can overpower us as well. we just are crazy…an yeah a lot of people don’t like us ’cause of it
Urizenus: yah but what about the charges that you would tag sims for having avatars like yours
Master Bam: Sure we would. They wanna be me *Giggles*
Urizenus: Well, can you see why that might be an issue for the ssg?
Master Bam: Oh yeah it was Mia hated us for it ’cause we were rebels….That’s part of the reason we started NSSG so we could do anything because we control it
Urizenus: Doesn’t this mean that in effect you want to be your own mafia? A griefer?
Master Bam: But SSG started out as a Mafia whether they wanna call themselves one or not…SSG started as “The Wallace Family”…You know Pulp Fiction
Urizenus: yes of course, I know it had those roots
Urizenus: so in your view it remains just another mafia?
Master Bam: It’s a good one though. I admit it out-griefs the griefers
Urizenus: so you don’t buy the claim that the aim is to protect a gamespace for people that want to play nice and keep the city safe for newbies.
Master Bam: Psst My women Vica is Saying “No” but I would say Yes
Urizenus: make up your minds! lol
Master Bam: Yes
Urizenus: You don’t buy it or you do buy it?
Master Bam: I do it sounds right
Urizenus: I wanna get to the NSSG in a sec, but first I wanna ask about the financial division
Urizenus: Is it the case that that division would finance people’s accounts for example?
Master Bam: No just in game Simoleons…If you became a good friend of SSG and needed a time card though someone would get you one
Urizenus: a time card meaning to pay for a monthly subscription?
Master Bam: yes
Urizenus: and who counted as a “good friend of ssg?”
Master Bam: Some one who participated in voice chats and was around alot
Urizenus: what about generals?
Master Bam: Sure
Urizenus: all the generals were comp?
Master Bam: comp?
Urizenus: like complimentary, accts paid for by ssg
Master Bam: no
urizenus: [How many] people got their subscriptions paid for by ssg?
Master Bam: maybe like 5 time cards
Urizenus: where did the money [for that] come from?
Master Bam: OK I gotta end this soon my woman is getting bored
Urizenus: lol
Urizenus: the fun part is coming
Master Bam: quick
Urizenus: ok, what’s the plan for nssg?
Master Bam: To take out SSG…Maybe start a new one
Urizenus: how can you take them out?
Master Bam: As I said the Alumni are the ones that are gonna be running it…we have our ways…and yes we will be able to do it
Urizenus: how?
Master Bam: You’ll see…Mr. I live in Shadow Lake
