Op/Ed: Grudges, Trashing , And Tagging Oh my!

I?m sure by now you?ve all heard of the Armone and X-Mafia families, which are currently allied in Alphaville, and the Black Hand Mafia in Alphaville, which is allied with the Blazing Falls Syndicate. If you read The Alphaville Herald, they you probably also know that there has been longstanding tension between X-Mafia and the Gambino Family and the rest of the Blazing Falls Syndicate, as well as tension between the Armones and the BF Syndicate which is fueled in part by the dispute between GF Antonio Armone and his sim mom Evita Carbone of the Syndicate.
The situation has been tense for some time, but now a war has been declared between X-Mafia and Black Hand in AV and things are getting very very hairy; sadly, a number of innocent bystanders are getting caught in the crossfire. My best calculation is that X-Mafia and Armone combined must have 110-120 members, while the Black Hand and its allies in AV have around 80 soldiers on the ground, so as you can imagine a full-on war can lead to a lot of property trashing, tagging, and general harassment. This has to stop!
The Armone/Black Hand dispute started when GF Sonny Satriale of Black Hand gave the order to trash Angelina-Marie Armone?s house (he claims “she had it coming”). Since then tags have been thrown left and right, houses are being trashed frequently, and there is disarray throughout these mafia families. One of my good friends Jinjo, who had his property attacked and trashed by the Gambino family (allies of Black Hand). Jinjo summarized his feelings like this: ?I was angry and disappointed that the people I at one time respected did this to me.” Of course Jinjo is not alone in this: many other sims (some of them merely innocent bystanders) have similar stories to tell.
Of course the tagging goes both ways. While I was visiting Mr.Satriale?s casino I watched a member of the Armone family run up and ?tag? Mr.Satriale. If you look at the friendship webs of the mafia members you can see for yourself how bad it is getting ? their webs are full of red links. People can’t even live a normal sim life because they are constantly having to idle for fear of being tagged. Countless houses are locked because of rival mafias attacking them. And mafia members can’t even run a decent business without someone ruining it. Some feel this mess must be stopped before it gets out of hand. We don?t want Alphaville to turn into a mafia hell hole.
The worst part about it is people don?t realize this is just a game. They can’t distinguish roleplaying from real life. Bottom line is things are getting really bad in Alphaville. And if we don?t all band together to help stop it who knows what the future of tso will be. No I don?t want to get rid of Mafias I want them to stay. I just want them to actually roleplay mafias; mafias are supposed to be about making money not war. And the godfathers fail to realize that. The sooner we all realize that war shouldn?t be a priority the sooner we can help get rid of this problem. Stop this nonsense. Make money, not war!

Let’s not forget XM and Armones count Multi’s as members and they have a lot of multi’s. XM, undoubtedly you will read this and try to retort what I have said. Don’t. I am not talking crap, I am stating fact that is public knowledge for the most part. Let’s not turn this into another forum to bicker at each other.

As far as the Sonny/Me fued goes is in-game…we talk occasionally out of game (in yahoo), etc etc..
Since the fall of SSG (which I was once a big part of), mafia has infested the city..bottomline, Alphaville is a mafia “hellhole”…From the large families [ie X/Armone Alliance] to the smaller [ie Ciprioni]..mafia is here to stay…
Sonny and i talk out of game about our in-game relations..about who i tagged, about the tag i got on him, about demo’s..etc
The demo on angelina’s house/jinjos house was no different from any other mafia war demo [other than one thing listed below]…get into the house, get build, buy soda, and boom..invite the family..
On ang’s house, it involved backstabbing – two close friends [maddi giancana and ang] were split by maddi’s decision to demo her house during the BH/X ceasefire..this clearly ended that..heh
On jinjo’s house…since he decided to go off and run for pres, he had [before the demo took place] temporarily resigned from armone so he can concentrate FULLY on the election..btw, gl bro..win or lose – i plan on seeing him as an armone supporter, or back to being an armone fully…
The BFS [Blazing Falls Syndicate], consists of 7 families..those families are..
-Gambino *Still ego driven, fighting w/ X
-Carbone *Went to SWG
-Capone *Either split into AFZ or other fams
-Westy *Uhhh? / Still fighting X
-Montana *Ceasefire with XMafia
-Corleone *Either split into AFZ or other fams
-Calderone *Ceasefire with XMafia
As you can see, the only families that are still fighting are Westy and Gambino…
That little section was just as a fact (cuz of the reference you made of BFS war)
Anyways, Ill leave all you age-discriminative bastards with this..

OK i need to stick my two cents in here regarding the part about why Angelina’s house was trashed. Her house was trashed for the simple fact when myself and others she knows from Dan’s Grove arrived in AV as Giancana, her exact words to me on day one after seeing I was going to be allied with BlackHand was this “just because we are friends doesn’t mean I am going to go easy on you” (sorry i don’t like being threatened) she also said to Maddi (and several others she knows from Dan Grove) that we can be “friends” in dan grove but not in alphaville. Now I don’t know if you all agree but how can you be friends in one city and talk smack to you in another city and expect nothing to happen? So as far as Angelina being betrayed by friends it was her who started it. I will throw her words back in her face by saying: Angelina: Just because we were friends doesn’t mean we would go easy on you” and we didn’t. At least we back ours up with action not just talk

I can name 1 person that has been tagged for monetary gain who is NOT linked to any mafia. Are you saying that he isn’t hurt by that? He is a 13 yo boy with rl major health issues. Now tell me how that doesn’t ruin his game. He no longer comes online to play anymore thanks to one of your buddies. It was a cheap shot, he was afk and didn’t even realise he was tagged.
