A confederate Uri wanna-be and his cracker friend look on in dismay as Uri rejoices in the raising of the Anarchist flag in the Jessie region of SL

Today, The Dysfunctional Family promised a new era in the notorious Jessie region of SL. In a communique released by the organization, the group promised and end to the coddling of Elvis-loving, George W. Bush fluffing, Beam and cola drinking civil war re-enacting simpletons.

I just can’t beleive you allowed the term in a story:

    his cracker friend

I mean granted they are wearing a confederate flag, but I think redneck may have been more appropriate. For a nationally read website I think it would offer a tad bit more taste than that. Even the tabloids wouldn’t print that.. It’s just not appropriate.

Cocoa and Uri, I wasn’t asking your feelings of the game. Incase you didn’t understand, which I thought I made clear…I am interested in this, but don’t understand what is going on. Are these some type of trouble makers, living next door to you Uri? Are they trying to start a war with you. And I don’t get how liking George Bush, has anything to do with this, or does it? Please explain. All you did was just bash these people without giving a background of what happened to your non-2nd Life playing readers. Thanks

I took it to mean Uri hates George Bush and doesn’t care for Southerners, either. And that he found some Southerners in the game to do battle with. (I could be wrong.)

there’s 2 regions in SL that allow killing. The region Jessie is one of them :) A small number of SL players enjoy the ‘war game’ regions :) once again, SL is what you make of it, if you can imagine it you can do it in SL :)

This game sounds kind of fun with the danger of being shot. Now what exactly happens when you are ‘killed’?

Confederates, pfft lets just hope you can do some flag burning.

if you are in a zone that allows killing (each property can choose to make it a kill zone) and you get killed, you immediately respawn on your home base. Now if someone is camping on your respawn point they can keep killing you on reentry forever. For this reason I set my home to an underground bunker. As Toy observes, only two servers/regions on SL are designated war zones. The problem with fire fights in other neighborhoods is that the neighbors complain about the noise and stray munitions.

There is a kind of point or question to all this which is: why on earth couldnt EA allow a couple of TSO servers to have tagging and let the rest be tag free??????
