On Scamming Scammers

Recently someone on TSO scammed a scammer and then gave the proceeds to the victims of the scammer. Three cheers for the virtual Robin Hood or bad idea? A discussion has opened on Stratics.

Hmm…I have scammed some scammers before, and I got a lot of “that makes you a scammer too, and you’re a hypocrite” type of replies on Stratics. Wonder why this guy is getting more good comments?
Anyway, I think it is right. Although I have never gotten money out of a scammer (just exploited a bug in auto clickers), I would do the same thing.
