We at the Herald are proud to announce the lastest Post Six Grrrl, January Bauhaus! January has done modeling work for both Madison Blanc’s Top Models modeling agency and Players Magazine. We would once again like to thank Marilyn Murphy, publisher of Players for the pictures.
Hello to all of you out there in SL and beyond!
I am January Bauhaus. I have been in SL for a little over 5 months and have enjoyed my time here immensly. I have met some really extraordinairy people. Briana Dawson and Marilyn Murphy were a couple of people I met early on and helped me out alot so I am very grateful to them. Also Santana Lumiere and Feri Beckenbauer who have been really kind to me(Thanks for fixing all my build mistakes and your kindness). Thank you very much you guys love ya!
I like to club alot and explore all of the amazing buildings and creations in SL I am what you would call a social butterfly. I love to meet people and go to parties.
I also do some modeling for Madison Blanc’s Top Model Agency and I do work for Marilyn Murphy’s Players aswell. I’m bi sexual and have what you might call a bit of a freaky side so I enjoy alot of diverse experiences both in and out of the bedroom.

I wonder why all the models are always rakes? Why can’t we have some full figured models instead with a bit of meat on their bones? Let’s have some realistic shapes featured for a change!

Actually, for your information, I have a real woman, I was merely attempting to challenge the stereotype that “beautiful = thin”, something that happens both in real and virtual worlds. A perfectly legitimate question.
By the way, clone, it’s spelt URIZENUS, with an E, you see. Nice try Ian.

western culture decided thin was attractive. we are raised to see thin as attractive. i don’t think there is a mystery here.

You really need to take an art history course if you think that Western civilization finds skin and bones Kate Moss lookalikes attractive. It’s a passing fad.

I love you too, Jan! *hugs* A note is response to ajdown – Jan is not a stick. Go meet her and check her out. She’s an amazon with soft curves and, as she so often likes to say to me, has a lot of shake in her milkshake. Please note, Marilyn Monroe looked thin in a lot of her poster girl pin ups but she was a size 12– which is, unfortunately, considered chubby now. So, just cuz she looks great in the photos does not mean she’s the next Twiggy.

I think Jan’s gorgeous! I’m in full agreement with both sides of the argument regarding why western culture finds certain traits attractive. It’s just the way things are. And those are som serious legs!

Hi all,
Jan you look great. If Jan is not as thin as Santana Lumiere and Marilyn Murphy state, doesn’t that show Jan is insecure of her body. I mean forget western culture, if you are proud of your body in RL, then create and brag about a body similar to the RL in SL.
