W-Hats honor the Pope

W-Hat build honors both the Pope and 9-11 victims
We have often been critical of the W-Hats for their poor taste and sophomoric senses of humor, but thanks to our criticism they have come around and begun engaging serious issues and showing respect for other persons. A recent build by the W-Hats pays tribute to former Pope PJ2 and the comfort he gave us in the wake of the Trade Tower attacks (as well as his own ability to take hot lead for the team). Meanwhile we hear that the evil Prokofy Neva was suspended for using the work ‘fucktard’. Grow up Prok! If you were more like the W-Hats you wouldn’t be in such hot water with the Lindens!
W-Hat’s pay tribute to the Pope by reenacting the hilarious attempt on his life some years back, complete with exit wound blood spray. Of course he didn’t have the Popemobile at the time…

Um, I’m going to hope this is a tongue-in-cheek editorial that in fact exults me by faux-poking fun at me. You could interview me and get the story correctly, or I may just blog it, but honestly, why doesn’t SL grow up and get rid of idiotic PG zones where people can be set up and nailed for saying “fucktard” or “fuck you”? And why doesn’t SL and the FIC grow up and stop misusing the AR system to settle scores with people they don’t like on the forums? Notecards to follow. Honestly, I sometimes think it’s time to be “done” with the Herald. You go to it for refuge when you are banned off the SL forums for no good reason, without notification, even after a 3-day ban for PG zone swearing is served out. And you find…this crap.

Prof, have a chill pill. If you read the paragraph in context, it is obviously a satirical poke at LL for allowing the above while, at the same time, popping you for indulging in something at least as ‘terrible’, if not moreso.
Seriously, your persecution complex is doing a better and faster job of shredding your credibility (however much you have) than anything else present in-world, on-forum, etc.
If you ever do get over the abject paranoia that people are ‘out to get you’ and learn to take the chiding and general celeb-noir you have set yourself up to receive with the block of salt it deserves, I think you would find not only that you are happier, but that there are those who actually do find your thoughts interesting (when not drowning in all the aforementioned).

I don’t want Prok taking chill pills, cuz we don’t want him losing his edge, but yes, the *point* of the post was to ask “why are the Lindens allowing this while suspending Prok for the negligible offense of saying ‘fucktard’?” But again, I’m all for persecution complexes: they make the world go ’round.
