Love Affairs, Death Threats and Scandals, Oh My!

Recent comments on the Herald site have inspired the editors to send out little old me, intrepid columnist Pat the Rat, to find out what’s really going on! Keep in mind most mafia folks are tight-lipped about their business (well, the smart ones are, at least), but the Herald has its ways of seducing the less intelligent with booze, drugs and cybersex, and has uncovered the following tasty tidbits about tensions and defections within the leadership of some the Grid’s most fearsome familes.

The leadership situation in the Black Hand Mafia (TBH) seems to be at the core of our gossip. From what little has been gathered, it seems the Godfather of TBH (Santino Molinari) exercised his power by using profanities to his women subordinates. Pat would love to repeat them but the Herald is an upstanding news source so alas I cannot. Let’s just say they start with C, B and W. This set off several TBH members to leave the family, including all of TBH’s top management. We are talking Underboss, Consiglieri and all those other fancy names Pat the Rat still doesn’t understand. Most of the former TBH’ers at this point either joined another family or started their own, though just how the cookie crumbled is still unclear to Pat.

A few days later, the power couple of the Bellini Family, Stacy Maracas and Blaydon Loveless (also former TBH’ers) decided to do a little investigation on Mr. Molinari on a tip that apparently he was having an ongoing love affair with the Herald’s very own Gina Fatale! Pat of course being already familiar with the infamous vixen contacted her immediately in hopes of getting a little one on one – interview that is – but Miss Fatale declined to comment. Pat even resorted to pulling out his 12-inch pencil to impress her with his writing skills but had no luck in getting her to talk.

Apparently, a conversation between Stacy, Blaydon and Gina, in which Gina tells in some detail of the love affair, was passed around within the SL mafia underworld. Eventually the notecard ended up with Aislyn McTeague, Santino’s wife and Godmother of TBH, further pushing Santino’s already hot temper to the limit.

Oh, but that was not the last of Santino’s recent mishaps, yes folks it gets better! According to an inside source, Mr. Molinari demanded from all members in his family that they pay him tribute from any money they made in SL, in some cases almost 90% of their earnings. Our source says, “Sonny demanded this was a family rule and that we roleplay the mafia in SL as if it were real life. He expressed that in the real mafia there was always this kind of kickback up to the big boss, which we know he is right but many of us tried to explain to him this was a game, that no one is going to give him money so he can sit there and play boss.”

Sadly, though, our source says, a few along the way did supply him with funds, and finally learned their lesson when a notecard came to light where Aislyn (Santino’s wife) confided to an un-named person that her orders were to use Jac Jacques (former Underboss of TBH) for his money and his private island. Jac, from what Pat understands, is Aislyn’s ex-husband and was the financial institution for TBH. Oh the dirt! Rumor had it that Jac was already fed up and left TBH before the mentioned note was given to him because of Santino’s power trips on the women, one in particular being his and Aislyn’s daughter StormyBiotch McTeague.

Our source continued, “Santino is a scammer, he is using the excuse to roleplay a mafia in order to get rich in SL. It’s the same thing as if I ripped a person off only his way makes it ok to Lindens because there is no proof of an actual scam if the person giving him money thinks it’s for roleplay. Sonny is a horrible person who cheats, lies and steals from everyone then later tries to apologize for it making you feel guilty.”

Well, folks, this is all Pat could dig up for now. Stay tuned because there is more to follow as Pat goes undercover as Vinny Bagadonuts and blends in the mafia underworld wearing my John Travolta white polyester suit!
