Post Six Grrrl – Six Kennedy

by Alphaville Herald on 13/05/05 at 8:17 am

The Herald is pleased to present this week’s Post Six Grrrl – Six Kennedy. Six is Co-Manager of SFH Entertaiment. A big thank you goes out to Marilyn Murphy, the publisher of Players Magazine (available at Semang (208, 170)), who is responsible for these pictures and all of the Herald’s Post Six Grrrls.

Hiya, I’m Six Kennedy and I have been playing second life for about three months. Not really a noob anymore but it wouldnt shock anyone that knows me to find me with a sign stuck on my head. I am a skilled box maker , however seeing as most ppl passed on buying my wooden pieces of art, I have had to find something else to do …

Just recently I have teamed up with Redride Mechanique to Co-Manage SFH Entertaiment’s “Party Girls for Hire”, an entertainment group that provides dancers for all occasions. We are bachelor party specialists! We have a great group of girls and have LOTS of fun at each party we host. And no.. It’s not an escort service.

I’m usually just hanging out with all my goofy friends and When I’m not shopping or dancing I’m usually off watching porn at one of the drive-ins.. JUST KIDDING , I dont have a car *smiles*

Here in SL I have met so many GREAT FRIENDS and some TOTAL JACKASSES ( rofl ) jk.. mostly GREAT people and I’ve also met someone that is very special to me *Blows Kisses at Him* I’d also like to thank the Sexy Marilyn Murphy for her Outstanding photography, You rock girl!

Why are all of these pictures so unimaginative? Would a prop kill someone? Better Poses? Different lighting? If you are going to show naked women, at least make it entertaining. All of these images are boring. It does take a certain talent to make naked tits boring, I suppose.

Well some people MAY possibly think Eboni that just because they have PSP they can make any picture look good.
Thats why SOME of us use ONLY in world pics, then you have to actually HAVE a talent of being a good photographer, IE angles, lighting etc. to acheive a GREAT looking pic of tits or anything otherwise :-)
The pics here say to one looking at them, I have PSP who care about angles? They just want tatas! They dont even really showcase the young lady. But look thru all of the Post Six girls images, Same thing……
Marilyn Murphy no offense to you madam, but if these girls are selected to be showcased they deserve to be showcased, ya think?
Just adding an opinion Ive had for sometime regarding this section of the Herald. Its Eboni’s fault for eggin me on with it, LOL kiddin

For what it is worth on Marilyns behalf, she does not use any editing program for her pics that she posts here or in her Magazine “Players”. If you really care to look at ALL the Post Six Grrls…including mine, she had multiple backgrounds and props for various shots, spend a few lindens and grab a copy of the mag also and see. Since neither of you have ever been picked, (and that is not a slam) you would not know the effort she makes to get her shots and the time she spends posing the girls right down to the object she sets up for you to focus on to have your Avi even “look” in a specific way. It is a constant dissapointment to see how people stir up drama and make comments about others peoples work daily, I mean really, how would you feel if someone did it to you. Didn’t your mother ever teach you, if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all?

    ty daph.

well, fancy poses and props aside, your missing the point i think, even though u state it urself. its the girls avatar that is highlighted. not how she can contort her avatar with some pose. i use props on occasion, just for variety, and hopefully it does not take away from the subject matter, which is the girl. its fine that u don’t like what i do. i am very aware that you cannot please everyone.
btw, how interesting you think these pictures are photoshopped. i dont have that program, or any other like it. i use in game lighting and a little free shareware program i can crop pictures with. thats all.

i had the experience once awhile back of being screened to be featured in one of the players issues. First off marilyn thinks she is some kind of avatar body expert and has this thing where all female avatars should be uniformed to one boring shape, slim sticky and no ass or tits too big. She basically re-did my whole avatar body because she felt it was not real looking enough (keep in mind what her real is) as soon as i decided i was not going to permanantly wear the body she made me well wouldnt ya know it – i wasnt going to be in the magazine. yet she claimed i didnt have to wear this body all the time as a requirement to even get in the magazine all she required is that i use the new body for her photo shoots which i had no problem with at all. also when i would show people the two bodies (my original and hers) everyone always picked mine to be the better one because it had more shape. guess its matter of preference but she tends to think its her way or the highway and she is some kind of expert when i know people in game with just as much experience and work that do a much better job than these pics you see here that are NOT edited in any kind of program they are just IN WORLD pics. and those pics are DEFINATELY edited with some kind of program!

Well I knew this was just a matter of time for someone to try to start “drama” over Marilyn’s work, especially after the smart-ass comment about her wedding (which WAS absolutely stunning and I was thrilled to attend). Having posed for Marilyn, and having been featured as a Post Six Grrl, I can say my experience was nothing but pleasurable. I was not asked to change one single thing and if you ever see SL with local lighting turned on you can insert foot promptly into mouth.
Congrats on another beautiful Post Six feature, Marilyn. I look forward to working with you more in the future!!

First, since you have no name, your post is worthless, if you have to hide, you have something to hide. I have been in game for a LONG time and have viewed numerous models with all sorts of shapes. I was never asked to change a thing (and know of many others who were not asked also), and if you were picked and you in fact were asked to change, it was probably because you were seen and you looked the type, then when you got there you in fact were not and she gave you a chance to pose so your feelings would not be hurt. Let’s face it, not everyone in game has what it takes to be a model at first, but with guidence and the ability to take constructive critisism, IF, and I say IF it is your goal to become a model of any type you will change to suit the context of the shoot or runway work. Why can I say this?? Because I am a fashion coordinator and change avatars all the time to meet the standards of what would make clothing look best for the designer who created it. As a nude model, angles are achieved to get your “best” side, and frankly, if you do not have one, you will be asked to change.

As a photographer, model, designer and instructor of Adobe Photoshop in world, my conversations with Marilyn have been extensive. Again I will reiterate she uses NO programs to edit anything other than to crop the pics to size. IF you know anything about the game specs and options to change lighting you’d be able to tell the difference.

Once again, the nameless, faceless, and apparently shapeless have come out again to stir up shit and drama…for what purpose? Because misery loves company. Wallow in it alone, regardless of your posts SL will continue to be entertained by those of us who could care less about your whining and will do what we do best for those who appreciate what we do.

So, you ask me WHY I do the things I do, or SAY the things I say? Because… I can.

Let me state a few things.

    1) I would never nude for a rag such as the Herald. I would never pose for the National Enquirer in RL, and my Avatar has the same integrity levels.

    2) I have looked at the Page 6 girls for months and 99.9% of the images have lacked imagination.

    3) The lack of diverstiy in the avatars and their looks is stagering, in face of the diverstiy of locks in SL

    4) I’m not knocking any of the models personally. I feel the images have not done any of the models justice.

    5) My mother taught me good taste and if something is lacking, there is nothing wrong with offering some constructive advice.

Maybe some a few guest photographers would be nice. I’m not sure but as it is stands it is still amazing that full frontal nudity could be so damn boring.

I have posed for Marilyn on lots of occasions. Just last night we were taking advertisement pictures for my new entertainment group and she used several different backgrounds, props and poses. She is in my opinion the best photographer in the game. These pictures here in the herald are portraits, I dont think they are supposed to be sexual, funny or firecracker-up-the-butt exciting. She works really hard ( especially with dorks like me ) to get the angles that she wants to use.

six kennedy is a great person. she is funny, and fun to be with. i regret that some people have chosen her display here to work at their drama trade.

i suggest that anyone wanting to discuss my shortcomings do so with me in game, i am there quite a bit. i would be glad to look at what u feel is better photography. i have worked with several other photographers and some have been represented in players magazine.

    ok eboni:

since u did not contact me in world to show me these exciting photos you keep talking about, i looked at your profile picture. since this is on your profile i am guessing you consider it a good picture, seeing as how you are a self appointed picture critic.

ok, first the eye is drawn to the linden heart sun that was up on valentines day. this object ocupies the top half of the picture and is the focal point. its the brightest and clearest thing in the photograph.

then the eye notices the dark avatar in the bottom half of the picture. this avatar has its forearm thrust forward and is its most prominent feature. this obviously is the feature the maker of the photograph wants us to see most clearly. this is obvious because the light source for this photograph is behind the avatar. this results in a noticeable lack of detail and an inability to make out any of the avatars features, except for the large forearm of course.

so i can conclude that you think, excitement in a photograph is to draw the eye away from the person with a bright prominent object dominating the picture.. then pose the person in shadow and thrust a limb toward the camera. now, i do understand u want the person in the lowest part of the picture and you want this person to be downplayed to the point of unimportance to the photograph. make sure the lighting is so poor that u cannot make out the individuals face.

ok. i have seen the excitement. i will take this advise to heart and try to use something like that here.
