Post Six Grrrl: Katie Fleming

The Herald is happy to bring you this week’s Post Six Grrrl, Katie Fleming! Katie ended up in SecondLife because of a New Year’s resolution and ended up becoming a self-proclaimed “club skank,” and is now gracing the pages of the Herald!. My thanks go out to Marilyn Murphy, the publisher of Players Magazine for these wonderful pictures and those of all of our Post Six Grrrls.

Whew? Is it just me, or is it hot in here?

Oh wait? It?s me. I?m completely naked under bright lights and getting photographed for a nude pictorial! My mistake!

And come to think of it? Judging by your reaction to my photos, I think you?re getting a little hot over there too!

So let?s learn a bit more about the brain behind the boobs, shall we? I?m Katie. I?ve been here in Second Life since mid-January, 2005. It?s funny, one of my New Year?s Resolutions was to go out and make new friends and socialize. What did I do? I plunked down $9.95 and made friends with virtual people in a virtual world. Way to go Katie!

I was your typical club skank for about three months (and I know there are people reading who are thinking, ?Shut up Katie. You still are!) until I met a really wonderful person who opened my eyes to all that Second Life has to offer. This isn?t a fairytale story, I assure you. But through this one person, I met quite a lot of wonderful people, and I found my niche in Second Life. Real Estate.

I buy land, build houses, furnish them, landscape, and then resell. Properties that I put $65,000 Lindens into get sold for $140,000 Lindens, for example. I absolutely love it. I meet so many people who stop by my builds and comment or show interest. And it?s so much fun to be creative and express one?s thoughts and designs here in the virtual world.

While in game, my hobbies include spending money, meeting new people, gambling insane amounts of money, exploring and sneaking into places I most definitely do not belong, and harassing newbies in the sandboxes.

As of late, I?ve been spending quite a bit of time on my latest luxury home, Windows on the World. Located at the edge of the world in Fletcher, it?s really a wonderful estate and all are welcome to drop by and check it out! Although I should warn you, it?s a good idea to let me know you?re coming so I can turn off security.

Aside from work, I?ve been hanging out with a wonderful and diverse group of women who are fast becoming my best friends. They?ve become quite a support network and I can always count on them for good times and anything else a girl could want.

I hope you enjoy my photos. It took quite a lot to get me out of my clothes and in front of the camera, but a big thanks to Marilyn Murphy for persuading/drugging me into this experience. And the obligatory shout-outs to BB, KA, BS, LN, Femmesaints, and to all of those who I completely forgot about. I apologize, but Marilyn?s holding a gun to my head and screaming at me to finish this before the deadline. Yep, that?s me. Always last minute.
