Announcement: CBC Radio looking for Toronto area SLers

by Alphaville Herald on 09/12/05 at 2:44 pm

Thanks to Zero Grace for passing along this message:

The pilot episode of a new radio show airing on CBC Radio intends on
featuring one or more Second Life residents in their daily online
activities. Lindsay Michael from the show is looking to get in tough with
Toronto, Canada residents who spend a lot of time in Second Life and are
familiar with its culture. She hopes to reach people through the Herald in
order to get in touch with someone free of Linden PR constraints. Her
official callout is below the fold–

********************************

Hello!

My name is Lindsay Michael and I work with CBC Radio. I am
currently working on a new show involving massively multiplayer social
games like Second Life. I’m looking into the community surrounding these
games in Toronto. I’m just looking to speak with some players in order
to get more information. If you are interested please e-mail me at
lindsaymotorcycle@gmail.com .

Thanks!
Lindsay Michael

So, then, how did you get this story? I hadn’t even posted of it on TSA yet before you got it up… One would hope that you don’t have an account on the TG, but you must have a source- one assumes 782 Naumova, perhaps?

I think you meant to post this in response to the Blue Linden story, but the answer is…

    The Herald has sources EVERYWHERE!!!
