Naughty America: the Game. OK, now who needs SL?

Yes, its true, there is now an online game that has latched onto the essence of Second Life and built their platform and marketed it with one thing in mind: Cyber. Called Naughty America: the Game, it seems more upfront about the role of cyber than either TSO or SL, but seems tamer than Sociolotron (no rape, for example). There is a brief interview with game developer Noah Dudley in Sex and Games.

I think I’ll sit this one out and wait for Naughty Denmark: The Real Deal.

Looks more like The Sims than SL to me.

Toons fucking toons, instead of ‘lifelike’ avatars fucking ‘lifelike’ avatars. I wonder if there are enough desperate people in the world prepared to lower themselves to getting off on watching to cartoon detail level animations fucking, to warrant a market for this ?

Perhaps it allows alot more creative freedom? You can do obvious simulated sexual acts in T afk SO, but choice and range is somewhat short due to the fact it not sposed to being in there.

Maybe this is just hardcore TSO under another name?

i am not exactly delicate but i cannot imagine wanting to get
involved with a game that would give a person more grief than
the grief you can get with SL.

    really.

I dunno, seems like a bit of a one trick pony. The concept of SL is that people can have empty, cold, digital sex lives *and* do other stuff. This seems to eliminate the Other Stuff. The other thing is, I wonder how many women really would want to play this? I imagine it being like 90% men, nad 80% of them using female alts. “The Internet. Where the men are men, and the women usually are, too.”
