Blogosphere Gets New Herald Affiliate

by Alphaville Herald on 03/04/06 at 11:11 am

A new blog hits the blogosphere this month, run by the uber-reporter currently known as Mark Wallace (but also known as Herald editor Walker Spaight). Check out 3pointD.com for news of all things 3D Web-related, including stories from virtual worlds. The blog is kindly sponsored by the Electric Sheep virtual world services company, and will take in 3D Web technologies and related issues, as well as life in MMOs. Though the Herald will continue to run the same kinds of stories it always has, it is hoped that the affiliation between the most ass-kicking newspaper in cyberspace and the newest kid on the 3pointD block will only strengthen readership and give everyone more to ponder and troll about. So don’t be surprised when I start cross-linking from one to the other. It’s all part of our plan to…

take.

over.

Teh.

WORLD!!1!one!!!

There’s a new word we need to add to our vocabulary: ESC’d.

Like being GOM’d, ESC’d is when Electric Sheep Company takes you over. Here’s a list of things that have been ESC’d:

    Democracy Island
    SLBoutique.com
    FlipperPA Peregrine
    SL Events List
    Walker Spaight
    SL Herald
    Howard Rheingold in SL
    American Cancer Society
    SL Forums ResMod System
    The Air We Breathe

Did I forget anything? I think I did.

Reminds me of how in TSO, skill lot after skill lot would get the name “Shadow”.
