Advertisement: Mad Doc’s Creation Given Second Life

On Saturday the 4th of August a group of Cambridge-based actors, writers and directors are hoping they have a future West End hit on their hands with “Joined at the Heart.” Before the traditional West End they want to break the virtual world. At 7.30pm (BST) / 11.30am (SLT) a performance will be streamed to a large screen in Northsound Island, where the Second Life community will be able to get an “audience” eye view of the musical as seen from the Junction Theatre, Cambridge. Although the quality will not match the live event, Second Life gives people the possibility of viewing “Joined at the Heart”, and may even encourage them to travel to the Edinburgh Festival and see it for real.
