Gorean slave masters expected to vote for Palin

by Jessica Holyoke

Snapshot_008

Now that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is running for Vice President on the Republican ticket, many groups are asking what will this mean for them: the liberals, the feminists, the inside the beltway crowd, and the business as usual oil fat cat crowd.  But a key demographic has not yet made up it’s mind – and the Gorean vote may be crucial in this election.  So allow me to break down the positions for our Gorean friends and neighbors.

Foreign Policy:  As the Priest Kings have decreed, the sea west of the Thassa is unknown and uncharted territory, much like the other side of the Bering Straight. We all agree that any Goreans who have been near the sea are certainly foreign policy experts, like Sarah, so there is a natural sympathy that should help Ms. Palin in her quest for the Gorean vote.

While Gorean slavers might like to obtain Earth women as their slaves, many of them don’t like going to Earth and only recently obtained passports – if they leave their home world at all – another parallel.  Will the barbarians of Washington be too much for the Proud Alaskan?  What about the foreign world that is Canada? Again, Gorean foreign policy and experience is similar to Sarah Palin’s impressive qualifications in this area.  Russia is a next door neighbor to Palin’s Alaska, but no one NO ONE mentions Canada as another bordering country, with two distinct foreign languages. Doesn’t that make Palin a double expert? What’s that aboot, eh?

Nothing should make a Gorean more proud than the likelihood of continued war over natural resources.  So Sarah’s idea of having Georgia and Ukraine join NATO is a natural – even though they have nothing to do with Europe, and will in antagonize Russia while Russia controls most of the energy for those self same NATO allies.

Charity: While most Goreans believe that charity is done only through Caste, Ms. Palin believes that charity, true charity begins in the House.  The House of Representatives that is – as Alaskan receives more subsidies than any other state.

Economic Policy:  All you need are many caste members with the necessary skills and the markets will take care of themselves.  Nevermind cheaper goods or cheaper caste members flowing in from foreign shores, or that the higher caste members are getting richer by using slave labor abroad and not allowing for future opportunity for lower caste members to advance domestically – its all the free market – and the Free Market is a Priest King you don’t want to piss off ever.  Except if the Merchant Caste ties up credit with worthless paper (care for some collateralized virtual land tier debt obligations, anyway?) secured by sub prime mortgages (Ginko Financial L$ spacebuck deposits) and then the Merchant Caste wants $700 billion dollars in order to maybe bail themselves out but it doesn’t really help anyone else, then the Free Market is OK to ignore. Gorean slave master are not going to have any problem with this sort of thing.

Rape:  This one is a tricky one.  After all, while *rape* sort of occurs in Gor (no one really gets *raped* and the word gets out in weird ways, I’m looking at you panfurs), it is relevant to Palin.  CNN reports the former Mayor’s police chief charged rape victims for the rape kits used to gather evidence.  While the Police Chief did state that perhaps instead of the city paying for the rape kits, the criminals should, that wasn’t the policy at the time.  (Illinois had a similar policy.) Doesn’t this sounds like Gorean justice?

The other issue is that Palin believes that abortion should only be allowed in cases where a medical doctor determines that the life of the mother would be endangered if she carries the baby to term.   This also means that if a mother believes she needs an abortion to save her life, and the doctor disagrees, then the mother’s decision is overruled — so the decisions of the Green Caste are more important than the decision of the woman whose life is in danger.

Role of Women: This is the odd feminist position.  After all, Palin’s gender was a factor in being selected as the nominee for vice president, but she doesn’t align herself with normal women’s issues, such as countering McCain’s position that women just need to be more educated to make up for any pay disparity between men and women.  The Chronicles of Gor are anti-feminist – by anti-feminist I mean that women have a certain role, one more submissive to men.  In many ways, Gor’s interpretation of the role of men and women is similar to fundamental Christianity.  And while Todd Palin is First Dude and Ms. Palin is the one who will be one heart beat or tumor away from the presidency, I don’t see her anywhere near the lines of traditional feminists.  Less Gloria Steinham, more Phyllis Schafly.

Is it any surprise that overall, Palin is the most Gorean-compatible candidate?

    Corona – Drop it.

You have failed to present your views or ‘rebuttals’ with anything other than a few lines of bullshit, misquotes and word twisting – let alone a remark that makes it very clear that you were never worth my time to begin with.

Yep – I am male Corona and guess what? That means jack shit. My viewpoint is just as valid as anyone’s. If you cannot accept that then kindly return to whatever hole you crawled out of. Take with you the teenagers and other twits and idiots that frankly deserve whatever they get.

The topic raised by my initial comment was Abortion and a method to curb the teenage pregnancy rate. How you got out of that a policy to curb teenage sex is beyond me. Yes – under the policy I’d like to see implemented, a few may well give up sex. It is my intent that they at the very least USE PROTECTION. How many times must that be stated before it gets through your thick skull hmm?

Have you actually READ my comments corona? Have you actually sat back to process them before spewing a bunch of bullshit?

Let us be realistic here hmm? No group of friends agrees on the same things nor do they all hold the same or even as similar world view. Period. to attempt to state otherwise is just more of your bullshit.

Here is the topic of this discussion and (lack of) debate for your Corona: Abortion and ways to prevent Teenage Pregnancy.

Now then – I have put forth and restated my own view several times while you have failed to do more than make side remarks, use a bunch of bullshit and apply a type of thinking that I would personally shoot someone for (thinking that, as a male, my viewpoint is less than valid). Oh – and before you come back with more bullshit – your very words alone show that last to be true Corona.

Only a vapid twit would believe that gender has anything to do with a VALID and quite frankly EFFECTIVE. viewpoint. Yep – it only covers half of the problem: The half that – just from what I saw while in school – has a hard time actually knowing when enough is enough in regard to the teenage pregnancy aspect. Now – whose fault is that? The girl? The parents? The government? society as a whole?

The answer – all of the above.

Myself? You may find this hard to believe but I assure you it is the truth: Up until about a year ago – and no, I won’t be telling you how old I am, suffice it to say I am above drinking age – I had NO sex at all. It was on my birthday that I have sex for the first time and with a woman I love.

do you know why I waited? It was not wholly by choice there: My parents actually did their fucking job and instilled good core values. I cannot say the same for most parents today.

Yep – my solution is one sided corona because there are no truly effective ways to get a male to think about using protection – let alone doing what I did. You either do your god damn job and instill the right values or you fail to do so and end up with another statistic.

If you have a better plan or one for the other half of the equation Corona – feel free to share it. Be warned however – there had better be none of the bullshit that your prior comments have contained thus far in your next response. So far I can invalidate all of your ‘responses’ with something very simple:

Your prior responses are invalid on the grounds that they are fueled by nothing more than a sexist attitude.

And before you even TRY and pull a reversal Corona – I do not look down on women nor do I think a woman’s opinion on topics is invalid due to gender. Hell – if there was a far more effective way than my own view to this topic I would be all for it.

However the current generation is beyond all but the most extreme methods and quite frankly society as a whole is – in my opinion – too keen on coddling teenagers and older members of society to which this issue affects and I’m sick and bloody tired of it.

I really would love it if you could have the choice and actually be responsible. from everything I have seen – the current generation and the one prior simply are NOT capable of being responsible.

I will not say this again for you Corona: GO AWAY UNTIL YOU ARE CAPABLE OF WRITING A REASONABLE AND RATIONAL RESPONSE.

@ Reality: “My parents actually did their fucking job and instilled good core values. I cannot say the same for most parents today.”

Leaving aside any debate about what “good core values” may be, I first applaud your parents for instilling in you a set of values that enable you to live independently and have the ability to express your opinions. Those of us who have been through that personal hell called “parenthood” are usually well aware of how difficult a job it actually is and how there is no training for it. If anyone says bringing up kids is easy, then they have been lucky. And I say that because no matter what we WANT our kids to turn out like, there’s a large chance they won’t.

By the age of three, EVERYONE will tell you how smart their kid is; how he talked at 3 months; how he can disassemble a tractor and rebuild it; how he’s writing for the New Yorker; and how she’ll be at Harvard Medical school at 12. Folks, by the time they’re sixteen, you’ll be happy if they get a job in WalMart – or even a job. Individually, we all ignore the Bell Curve of Life and believe that OUR offspring will be up there above 3 standard deviations and running the country. Sadly, collectively we know that 99% of the human population live lives of quiet desperation in ordinary jobs where shit happens and many things are out of our control.

My point here, Reality, is that you may be lucky to be one of those folks who have made the top 10th percentile in relation to having had an upbringing that worked out pretty much as your parents hoped. Statistically, that’s absolutely possible. Someone has to win a lottery. But because it all worked out well for you doesn’t mean that it will work out well for everyone else. Other parents also struggle to provide “core values” and do whatever they can to make that happen. Yet tragically, shit really does happen and kids go off the rails, get pregnant, do drugs, or even die. And what happens is that those parents who didn’t have to face these things think, “well, my kids did OK so it must be the lousy parents,” when in truth, it can happen to anyone.

I’m not being judgmental, or at least I don’t want to be. However, I do caution against regarding your own successful upbringing as being the model for everyone else. It’s unfair to call parents “bad” because their kids do something wrong. Don’t forget, kids are (a) individuals and (b) independent thinkers. We like to believe we can mold our kids into model citizens but the reality is that we grow up partly as a result of our parents’ input and partly as a result to how we interact with the world.

And my final point from all this is that in the same way individuals use their own yardsticks to tell others how to behave, when governments telling people how to behave, this becomes very dangerous. Whenever possible, choices should always be left to the individual, not the government. I left my parents many many years ago and am fully independent, capable of making my own decisions, even if other folks don’t like them. I have no intention of letting the government act in loco parentis.

Sadly, some people seem to like to elect new parents.

I do work for Planned Parenthood and can tell you first hand that the issue is not nearly as black and white as you would have it seem, Un-Reality. The fact is, there are a lot of other possible factors that can lead to teenage pregnancy than ignorance, as you would put it.

In many jurisdictions, it is illegal for anyone other than parents to give contraceptives to a minor. And in an uptight religious household, do you really think Daddy’s going to just sign off on his son’s promiscuity? In some religions like Catholicism, contraceptive use is even considered more sinful than the act itself. In addition, many conservative areas including areas such as he state of Alaska and Lubbock, Texas, outlaw the teaching of sex education other than pure abstinence. If your parents won’t teach you about it, your school won’t teach you about it, and you don’t have contact to other educational resources, how are you going to know how important it is to use protection?

There are students here at my university that I and my friends have actually had to teach what a condom is. There are many rural communities where children are quite simply being restricted from this knowledge, and to blame them is just wrong.

Furthermore, even when protection is sued, there are statistically slim, but not non-existent, extenuating circumstances that cause issue. Condoms are not invincible. They can and do break every once in a while, particularly after being carried in a wallet for an extended period of time as in the case of many young men. And, though it is a billion to one chance, every once in a while the condom does not work. Each ejaculation can contain more than 20 million sperm cells. All it takes is one survivor to conceive.

Finally, if you were to outlaw abortion, do you really think that would stop it. Abortions were being carried out long before Roe and they would continue long after it were it overturned. The only difference is that controlled, healthy, sterilized, safe medical operations, would replaced with a coat hanger up the cooch. Studies have shown that abortion rate, and the fatalities accompanying them, are highest in countries where abortions are illegal.

If you really want to have a reasonable and correct argument, you should conduct more research than a few buzz-words you hear from the talk radio circuit. I have included a link to the Planned Parenthood website, and I encourage you to look intelligently into the matter. Furthermore, for perspective on the sex education debate, check out the documentary the Education of Shelby Knox, which chronicles the efforts for high school students in 2004 to get proper sex education further than abstinence only.

Corona: either present a proper argument or shut the hell up already.

The fact that you would bring any sort of ‘faith’ into this at all as an ‘argument’ is proof enough that you are not responding to debate – you are responding for no other reason than to heckle and I’ve frankly had enough of it.

If I could reach through this screen and give you and people like you who somehow think that they need to heckle someone and simply refuse to provide a real argument a sound dose of Head Against Desk logic …. I would.

I will agree on one thing – there needs to be emphasis as well on alternate forms of sexual relationships.

    For the rest?

Morning After Pill? Gee, that’d be fine and dandy if it wasn’t yet another pitiful method of coddling and allowing an out.

What gives me the right to say my values are correct?

Gee – I don’t know … How about the fact that you are sitting here and trying to tell me that it is perfectly fine for someone to go out, fuck whomever they want with no care in the world and without being careful or taking precautions until after the fact and then adding in a method for such people to continue down that path until such a time as it is too late to prevent the inevitable: Contraction of a fatal disease that can be passed to others.

Now then – which would you say is correct? The desire to prevent the above or your own view in which the above can, will and DOES happen?

Come back when you’ve grown up a bit and can respond with a bit more than “You’re wrong, I am right and do not have to debate the point”. Indeed – come back when you are capable of having a proper debate and can actually form a proper argument: I’m done with you.

You’re not worth any more of my time if you cannot do anything more than sound off and use what amounts to a grain of sand as an argument.

RU-486, colloquially known as the Morning After pill, does not induce or relate to abortions. It is a massive does of hormones that instantly triggers menstruation. This prevents conception, provided it has not already taken place. If conception has already taken place, RU-486 has no effect what-so-ever.

Still coming back for more Corona? Now all you are is a simple amusement for me to pass the time.

I really do not need to answer any of your questions, nor come off of any ‘high horse’ little one.

It is clear from reading your responses that you are nothing more than a vapid waste of space who cannot even bother to respond in a debate or base argument in a manner that would get you laid out by anyone with a short temper.

How about you wake up to the real world, grow up and learn to respond within a debate or base argument in a proper manner?

You have no right to respond in the way you do and as far as I am concerned … people like you who find it impossible to respond with anything more than wild, uninformed and baseless accusations – the ones that think they actually know what a person is saying but instead know nothing at all and are reacting wildly and without a shred of intelligence – have NO rights whatsoever.

What you have is a false sense that you can respond to a reasoned argument with emotions, lines of quite obvious bullshit and your own lack of understanding of what is being said.

You think you know me as well as my standpoint Corona – you know nothing at all and it shows in each and every response you have typed. I can go back to your very first response and read each one since then and see this.

Until such a time as you are capable of responding to me as you should – with an actual argument and not your emotional bullshit laced with a gross lack of understanding – I will treat you as I would a child with an IQ of 50.

I will close with a few final words for you little one, dumbed down so you can actually understand them through that thick skull and wall of emotional bullshit:

    …….

Oh wait – I forgot that it would be impossible to do so.

Come back in about twenty years Corona – maybe then you’ll have grown enough to present a proper argument.

Have you ever had a condom break, Unreality? That’s scary as hell. You did practice good judgment and responsibility, but chaos theory took over and something bad happened. It’s not a “convenient excuse”. When that happens, those involved are usually terrified. See, the condom doesn’t break when you’re putting it on. It breaks when you ejaculate. By the time that happens, it is too late to do anything else. I’ve seen kids in tears they were so afraid because it happened. Believe it or not, it’s real easy for a condom to break, particularly if applied incorrectly which, as it requires it to be worn slightly loose at the end, seems counter intuitive without experience. Have you ever been in that situation? It’s not fun. It’s not an “oops, well I don’t have to be safe, I can go do this and cover myself.” It’s expensive, averaging on the low end $50 for a single capsule. And, as pharmacists can refuse to hand it out if they are ignorant rednecks, it can sometimes be damn near impossible to find somewhere to buy this one dose. It doesn’t come in a nice little bottle, easy to get as Tylenol. And it’s not fun, either. It has been known to cause severe physical nausea and illness, and the fact that you start dripping heavy mucus out of your vaginal cavity is not exactly a sexual selling point. And, to top it off, your next period is the mother of all menstrual cycles. It hurts more, bleeds more, does everything to a higher factor. RU-486 will fuck your body up in some of the worst ways possible. It is not something you ever want to have to take more than once. It is emergency contraception in the strictest definition, roughly analogous to amputation for a leg wound. When you have no other choice, it can save you, but it is far from pleasurable, and never even something you would wish on your worst enemy. To write it off as an excuse for teenage promiscuity is ignorant, foolish, and honestly laughable, in so much as you clearly are unqualified to talk about the subject. Before telling other people they need to have a reasonable argument, you really need to have the ability to do so yourself, and to respond to those that do.

Nikola – kindly do not make me laugh anymore ok?

Alright – so that particular pill has some rather nasty side effects. Putting exactly what it does in black and white does not change much at all … sorry – it simply doesn’t. The only thing it has changed is that I would now like very much to find and beat the living hell out of the scientist or team of such who created the damn thing.

Other than that? It is still an excuse – an extreme way of going about keeping yourself from getting pregnant? Yes. Needing to be pulled off of the market and destroyed, due just to its side effects? Yep. Doesn’t really mean I do not view it as an excuse when it is used however.

    Take that as you will.

Corona? I frankly do not care where you work and what ‘insight’ you think you may have nor do I care how much time you may have to type up a response.

    Kindly cease making excuses.

No one has said anything for you Corona. They have presented their own issues – not your issues.

Your replies have made no points whatsoever and up to and including your last three have been nothing more than a bunch of blathering and emotional responses laced with accusations and assumptions which you cannot back up whatsoever.

Let us take your very last one for example – shall we?

“So Reality because i disaagree with you I must be immature and or stupid”

No Corona – I said nothing of the sort. I said that the use of emotional responses, accusations, assumptions and other such things in your responses – things that you have yet to back up with first hand knowledge of me – makes you thus.

    There IS a difference.

“the way you write reveals a lot more about you then just your stance it shows a lot about your personality

those who have taught in primary and secondary schools like I have will know this ”

Sorry to have to break this to you but uh … Wrong. See, this is why I never liked teachers – among other people …. Let us see what you have ‘learned’ shall we?

Did you learn that I am normally very kind and caring? Did you learn that in a normal discussion, debate or argument that I am actually rather polite and not very demanding? Did you learn that I only become aggressive and start responding as I have been when a person decides to cop an attitude or attempts to pull out something truly ignorant – like … this: “only a male who will never have to worry about carrying a child would think up your veiwpoint” for example?

I think I will answer the above questions for you Corona – since by your own words you would rather others speak for you – an observation mind you.

No to all of the above questions.

Making a judgment on a person’s viewpoint and personality based only on what they have written is thus about as accurate as a shotgun being used for sniping … and about as intelligent.

Treat what you ‘learn’ from what I type as an opinion Corona. That is all you can have concerning my personality as you have no hard facts or personal experience with me.

Now – if you’d like all of this to be done in a civil manner … start acting like it ok?

So, to sum up, Unreality, a pill that does not work after conception, only works once for the one, $50 capsule, dosage, and has side effects so trying that were it not for the alternate possibility of conceiving a child when one is clearly not ready, or for other disastrous reasons such as rape or incest, is so clearly an “excuse”. That’s your viewpoint. Ignoring the basic fact that it is only contraceptive, that is only able to prevent conception not terminate existing pregnancies no matter how early in development they are, your refusal to acknowledge the possibility of extenuating circumstances such as broken protection is quite the obvious signal of how immature you really are.

RU-486 is nothing more than an extremely high dosage of birth control medication a responsible girl would already be taking. To say that a girl should be unduly burdened because her lover lied about the age of his condom is so disgustingly sexist it’s deplorable. I’m not going to make the stupid argument and say you’re acting on faith which you clearly aren’t. But it’s quite clear that the extent of your sex education come from your military parent repeating the basic “wear a rubber’ line told to all foreign-bound enlistees. While it is fortunate that you did get at least that token of education, you could clearly use more in depth study, particularly if you want to be accusing people of using ignorant arguments without the basis of facts.

At any rate, you have proven a refusal to acknowledge actual facts and science in this field to instead try to shove your moral views down others throats. I have better things to do than respond to sexist demeanor such as yours, and as i have sufficiently disproven your garbage claims and junk science accusations with a brief overview of non-biased information so readers can make that decision themselves, I step out. Kindly drop the act Nikola.

Nothing you have presented here is unbiased. Nothing.

You have said nothing at all that has not been considered … and dismissed.

Shit happens – get over it and move on.

While you are at it – cease attempting to read into my background using my comments child. You have failed miserably at getting even a shred of truth by doing so, just as Corona has.

See – if the circumstances are anything but rape, a life and death situation or – and I’m glad you brought that one up, as I forgot about it – incest … tough shit.

Did you perhaps bother to ask me what I’d have the father forced to do? No – you did not.

Jessie gets pregnant, Jessie is not raped, not in any danger and did not fuck her brother. Jessie must carry the baby full term. Joe, the father, has two choices: stick around and see what happens when you are not careful or use redundant (do you keep missing this part of it Nikola? You must be if you assume I believe a condom to be the only means of protection) protection …. or have his ability to have children – or sex in general – removed.

Nice try though in doing the same thing that Corona had Nikola. I hold a special place for kids like you who somehow think they know it all by simply reading what a person writes.

I do not approve of the use of such an extreme drug as a contraceptive – hence one of the reasons I view it as an excuse. You either do things right and take the proper precautions …. or you fuck up and end up being a father/mother.

It really is that simple and to try and say otherwise just goes to show how fucked up society has become today. “Oh, you made a mistake and now you’re pregnant? well, let’s let the father off the hook and let you return to what you’ve been doing.” That sort of mentality makes me sick.

Now – your experience and that of your friends may have been different. I will admit that. I come from a town where the cheerleaders have no shame and many have slept with the whole football team … and show no indication of stopping there. Many did get pregnant, had their abortions …. and went right back to doing the same damn thing. even going so far as to need an abortion a second – and even third – time.

That also disgusts me. I don’t care if you’re going to fuck the football team but for the sake of whatever being you believe in … take the proper fucking precautions!

Jomin – If you have anything to contribute, do so. Otherwise, stuff it.

Roland? come back when you’ve finished school and grown up a bit kiddo. I do hope that one day you grow out of your infantile attitude.

Take care everyone else …. Nikola, Corona – if you’d like to have a civil discussion .. contact me in world. I am not on very often but I do check my mail for offline messages and do respond.

Look, it’s not all that hard for you stupid shits to get. You’re fucking wrong, and I’m right. It’s that simple. The fact is women who get lied to by their boyfriends deserve to be knocked up. It serves them right for not knowing the truth of a situation. Women are meant to raise children they conceive. If they catch cum, they deserve to spend the rest of their lives in any situation that results. Spending $1400 a month on morning after pills are just an excuse for them to be stupid. Women don’t deserve a life outside of the home like that. Stop presenting this bullshit of “scientific facts” and “unbiased information” and realize that you are immoral fuckheads. Now, let’s try to be civil and you can embrace my truth. Doesn’t that sound better dearie?

    Shorten her chain.

In all seriousness, people should have their own choice about their own bodies and their own lives. It also comes with responsibility, and if they cant take that, fuck ‘em.

I was able to drink alcohol in 1979, if that gives you any clue, dumb shit (Reality).

See, part of growing up is learning to accept that other people may think differently than you do and that you shouldn’t be able to dictate to them when it comes to such a personal and important decision. In fact, as you may one day (hopefully) learn after YOU grow up, people, in general, tend to become more tolerant (liberal) as they age.

People like you and the other busybodies in places like South Dakota would deny my cousin – who had twins who would both have died had not one been aborted – the care she needed. In fact, under this new law (which is probably going to pass and then be immediately bumped up to the US Supreme Court where both sides will vie for Justice Kennedy’s vote, as he is considered the swing vote), the doctor would be sent to prison for 10 years, simply for SAVING one life over NONE.

BTW, the fucking moron who is leading the anti-abortion bill in South Dakota charge (again), had an abortion herself once.

    Why am I not surprised?

Listen, if you want to be taken seriously and actually have civil conversation, as you claim, you need to drop the pretense that you are innately superior. That goes for the “dearie” and “child” crap too. I’ve been watching you say these same STUPID words for years around here. Give it a fucking break already, it’s old. All it does is serve to make you look incrementally like more of a pathetic asshole/lunatic who substitutes patronising little digs for any actual argument.

That’s my advice to you, ’cause right now you’re just sounding like a fucking dipshit.

Roland – I will not repeat this, so kindly listen up:

My use of particular words and the reasoning behind such is apparently one of the comments you must have missed. “Dearie” is reserved for those whom have either pissed me off – in the case of Corona – or those I simply hate on principle – Prokofy being a prime example.

Kid, Kiddo, Child, Little one … These are all used in various instances. They are used more often when I have tried patiently to explain a viewpoint to someone – and it appears they refuse to understand on the simple basis of looking to cause trouble. I have used these as well to respond to people of any age that have yet to really grow up and be a bit more mature.

I really don’t care how old you claim to be Roland – only one response so far from you has shown anything more than the maturity one would expect in a Junior or Senior High School student.

Do yourself a favor in all future conversations and do NOT jump to any conclusion NOR lump me in with ANY group of people Roland. Your cousin had an extenuating circumstance – I would rather see a live birth over two still born children. However – I would have made damn sure that the chance both would survive was less than 70% first.

That about sums things up there Roland, other for me to tell you this: Some people become jaded as they age. I am one of them. Cut the crap talk next time.

Now then …. Corona? What does a 105-year old virgin have to do with the topic which you have shown little real interest in debating?

Good for her: It does not prove anything whatsoever concerning the current generations however.

Rolard dearie, how’s it feel being so inferior to my massive intellect? I once raped one of my colored servants when she got uppity, so I know exactly how it feels. It feels so good. Ughhhhhhhh.

To correct my previous post, I use “dearie” when I am really mad. For example, I am so mad at the Internet right now, you fucking children piss me off. Women deserve to stay in the kitchen and get beaten by their husbands, not have sex with anyone or voting or anything.

Anyway, those damn kids should be beaten too. As long as they’re out having more sex than I do, they need to be hammered into the ground with stakes if need be. God, I hate them so much. Dearie-dear-dearFUCK. FUCK. I NEED TO GO TAKE SOME PILLS NOW. I’M HAVING A “MOMENT”.

On March 25, 2004, the Senate passed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act (S.1019) by a vote of 61-38. From Kate Michelman, President of NARAL Pro-Choice America:

Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-Calif.) proposed a substitute amendment that had the same structure and similar penalties as the bill that passed, but did not undermine Roe v. Wade by recognizing an embryo or fetus as a separate legal “person.” This amendment failed by a very close vote of 50-49.

The only difference between the bill the Senate passed and the Feinstein alternative the Senate rejected is simple-giving separate legal status to a fetus or embryo. The reason it’s there was explained by anti-abortion leader Samuel Casey. “In as many areas as we can, we want to put on the books that the embryo is a person. . . That sets the stage for a jurist to acknowledge that human beings at any stage of development deserve protection-even protection that would trump a woman’s interest in terminating a pregnancy.”

It’s an effort that is not limited to this bill. Around the country, anti-abortion legislators have moved forward with initiatives to grant separate legal status to the fetus or embryo as early as the moment after conception. They are even getting bolder in trying to force direct legal challenges to Roe in a number of states, and in two federal courts.

eve from the moment of conception

followed no doupt by laws making any menstuarating woman guilty of murder
then it will be the turn of men who masturbate
( which would spell the end for Gor in SL or RL)

I have to agree with Reality that for the teen pregnancy cases, the kids should learn a valuable lesson to use any and all precautions available to not get pregnant… Or get an STD.

However, there should be a choice in the matter for everyone, not only for rape victims.
Forcing a teen who got herself/his girlfriend pregnant to have the baby and try and raise it while they should be finishing school is not really a good lesson either.
If I see a 16 year old girl pushing a babystroller, I’m mostly concerned for the little one, and very little for the 16 y.o. mom. Growing up with teen parents I dont think is very good for a child, and is the baby not the subject this whole discussion should be about?

Better would be to make kids, boys and girls both, realize and understand that however fun sex may be, it’s also something very, VERY special shared between people who love eachother, and should be taken seriously as such. (Even if you dont concider the risks of pregnancy or STD’s.)

I gave away my virginity just like that as well, and regretted it a lot when I met the love of my life :(

    As a final point…

Each and every case of pregnancy, is a whole different case from all others. You cant really make a law that only allows rapevictims to get an abortion and no-one else, there is a too large grey area. Real life isnt as black and white as a law like this.

MAAAAAD late post, but I feel I need to say something, for what it is worth.

Reality is a male. This means he has no right to decide what a woman is allowed to do with her body. The only ones who should be making the ultimate legal decision on whether or not (an to what extent) Abortion should be allowed or not (federally and overarching) are women… as in, those who would be directly affected by the decision. Men shouldn’t have an opinion nor a vote on the subject. This is the domain of women and women only. (protip: Gorean philosophy notwithstanding, since it’s uhhhh.. not real and has no place in reality anymore?)

It is not fair for men to make decisions about women, particularly when the decision on said rights will not directly impact their lives apart from the disappointment or satisfaction that whatever belief system they adhere to may or may not be likewise satisfied. Anti-Abortion legislative attempts and movements are inherently religious, the beliefs of the supporters notwithstanding.

Because such legislation is inherently religious by nature of the principals of perceived necessity, it is technically illegal to pass as law because of that pesky Establishment Clause, which rather broadly forbids religion from having any favour from the government. “Congress shall pass no law respecting an establishment of religion… (goes on to also forbid religion being being banned, too)”. What does this mean? it means two things: You can’t pass a law that establishes a state religion and you cannot pass a law that directly satisfies the desires and interests of a religious establishment… in other worlds, if any potential legislation (called a bill) is introduced and it is either written by, Heavily favoured by and/or contains language that favours or prescribes policy known to be a major religious position, it is unconstitutional straightaway and thus is actually subject to immediate nullification and repeal the moment it is discovered and people bring attention to it.

So I’m sorry if this offends anyone’s faith or beliefs, but the simple matter is that it is common sense and it is also a matter of constitutionality. There is little to no secular reason, let alone support, for anti-abortion movements. By and large, it is a conservative position and EXTREMELY religiously inspired, supported, and lobbied. Of course, the only right way to solve this sordid issue is to ban men from voting on the matter, put it to a public vote, and see what the majority of America’s voting women decide.
