Alessandra Narayan — Post 6 Grrrl
by Alphaville Herald on 08/12/09 at 6:19 pm
[Alessandra Narayan IM'd me and introduced herself and I was thrilled. I am a student of the Herald and it was a not just a pleasure to meet a fellow writer, but a chance to meet a gorgeous avatar and a great person. I was thrilled when she agreed to pose for us, and she would have been here sooner but we are each the most crashtastic avies I know. It is a real honor to introduce this week's Post 6, Alessandra Narayan. -Timothy Morpork]
I am a reporter of Alphaville Herald, as many of you probably know, although I haven't been writing all that much lately. But then again it's hard to find interesting and original contents, which doesn't mean I myself am a subject of superior interest. But since Tim and I are co-workers, the possibility of participating in "Post 6 Grrrrl" just showed up in a natural and spontaneous way. I accepted it because Tim is a great photographer and does a great job every week.
Anyway, about me: I've been in SL since September 2006 and from the day I logged in I kept coming back for the most various reasons, still not fully understood. Anyway, SL is an everyday surprise box and, to be honest, I can't complain. Sometimes boring, other times exciting, such is life in SL or RL.
I've done so many things. The list is endless: from stripper to escort, secretary or reporter. Besides the countless places where I've roleplayed, the hundreds of people I've met, the numerous stories I lived… Everything else you'd like to talk and know about me or if you'd like to meet me, please do IM inworld, ok? Be nice with your comments: I've already seen too much frustration, too many haters, so many bad critics, horrible attacks and brainless judgments in "Post 6 Grrrrl".

“Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.”
Uh oh. Ol’ Pluto that Philosphur Feller done hit this Hillbilly rite on the head with that remark. But I ain’t no reg’lar fool, missy: I’m a damned natural-born fool. King Fool, if’n you will.
I reckon Sorecraters, ol’ Pluto’s teacher, said that. And though he tried to apologize to them Geeks in Athens, look what that bunch of ordinary fools done to him: made him eat Hamhocks (or was it watch Matlock?) until it killed him dead.
So hang in there!

are you serious?!
this cannot be real… I have seen some lows, but… really??
I have never criticized this column before, nor had the desire but I have to stop and ask if this is a real post or a joke because it is all too unbelievable.

comments weren’t piling up like they’ve been so why not put this out there?
site hits is what it is all about folks and this submittal clearly demonstrates that fact. Everyone woke up for this one…
don’t believe me, go back and check how many Post 6 Grrrl entries there have been in recent months.
this site went from almost dead quiet over the past few days – to this.

Haha…. a good job here, just sit back and wait for all the “WTF! This cant be real!” comments. Ok, I wouldn’t wear your avatar, but it’s not so bad put together. The attachments sit well, you choose poses that fit for your body, no hands that disappear into the mesh. The hips and shoulders are wide enough for boobs this huge. The boobs look well made, obviously you wear skin by the same designer since I couldn’t see any seam between the prim boobs and avatar mesh. I wish the models would put more work in their poses, they all pose standing up. What about all the sexy sitting and lounging poses?
I think it’s an interesting face with that bigger underlip, my guess is that you made it like that just to avoid the total symmetry that’s boring. I do think the head is a bit too small, compare it with your neck in the last picture. Too bad there’s no full body shot, down to the feet. I would like to see if you manage to look well balanced.
Well done, it’s a good example of an avatar that’s not meant to be totally “real” but more a statement. Just like Post6 is meant to get heated comments. For Timothy’s skill as a photographer…. I leave that to others. He has his style, he could do it different but after all the bashing I guess he’s too stubborn to change anything.

With all the awesome posemakers around, you could only find 2 poses for 3 pictures? Sad.

The point (or two of them) the massive rack is to shock. Then mock the SL fashionistas a bit with the huge lips. Layer on top of that the “cultural” thing among the PN’s, Woodburies, and pals for distorted avvies. Mix it all together, and voila, you get avvies that look like this. At least the female versions look better than the male ones. LOL

You want to see a really beautiful big busted avatar? Look up Minka Pearl. She is drop dead pretty. This one is trying hard but, Oh my, she is not a representation of the wonderful looks that have been achieved lately in the big busty girl world. But Aless has every right to look the way she wants.
Her breasts here do blend in great though, Almost to good so I suspect a bit of photoshop there. And I have to agree the poses are a bit weak. I would love to do a layout on this subject, not model but arrange and shoot a busty girl, or even a group of them.

Jeepers Creepers, where’d ya get those peepers.
Er, umm, those are some peepers alright.
Let’s just say, I’m not impressed with avies like this. Very childish. Like, the age of 9 maybe, I guess.
To each there own though, I always say. If you enjoy acting that age, there is nothing to stop people.
I would probably giggle if I saw this avi, which, if that is the intent, then, the creator has done their job I suppose.

Ok, english is not my first language, but I am wondering if the “writers” on this site speak english.
“I am a student of the Herald and it was a not just a pleasure to meet a fellow writer,”
And am I supposed to believe this retarded man wearing the woman balloon masturbation suit is a “fellow writer”

Alessandra, your av needs some work. You keep your proportions as that’s obviously what you are about, but your face needs some tweakage. You can still keep the big lips ‘n’ all but drop the bottom lip slider a bit and move them higher up your face. And some extra height would balance out the prim boobs and big hips thing you have going on. I’m not being a hater, but offering advice. Good job matching the skintones there though.
Timothy, your photography is getting worse. You do know about antialiasing and high res photos and different file formats, right?

This is the best Post 6 ever.
If I want normally proportioned barbies there’s RL pron for that. THIS is what SL is supposed to be.
Second Life= your imagination blah blah… this credo is actually demonstrated by this gorgeous woman, because LOOK! She’s different, she’s a cartoon person and her body is appropriately cartoonish! This is how she wants to look, you retards!Y’all need to dial down the seriousness and have some fun here. They didn’t create Second Life so we could all stand around and mock people and be angry. Lighten up.
I think all the pictures are good, but the second and third pictures are fantastic, like a comic book came to life.
Timothy and Alessandra, great job and thank you.

Alas, just as prim breasts cut one off from the vast majority of SL fashion, they make many poses and animations unusable as well–arms, hands, long hair, and legs passing through one’s breasts just don’t look right.

Alessandra’s shape is proportionally well suited. I particularly like the first and third picture. And necklaces over prim breasts sometimes never work, so her setting the cross across her bust in the third photo is perfect.
Yes, a lot of harsh and unneeded comments here…I think Ediie Stankey said it best. Lighten up.
