[Makes Magic hit my radar by virtue of SL-dating one of my closest friends, who in turn thought her new boyfriend would make a wonderful Post 6 Model. I happen to agree with her. I proudly present this week's Post 6 Dude, Makes Magic ~Timothy Morpork]
Hi Everyone!
It’s a real honor to be here. I had never heard of the Alphaville Herald until my girlfriend introduced me to it, and then to Timothy Morpork. I’ve been a loyal reader for just a few weeks now but I’m totally hooked and it’s really great that I get to be this week’s model. I love Second Life, and learning now that all these cool blogs exist outside of the game has really been a revelation.
As I tap out this little bio in a really laggy sim, waiting for the letters to appear on the notecard several beats after I type them, I can relate to the people that knock the SL experience. Laggy sims aside, I have had a great Second Life. I love that some people are here for a game and some are here for a business and some are here for sex and some are here for all of the above. I have met really talented and creative people, and really clever people, and really smart people. What other medium will allow me to interact with all of them from the comfort of my couch on a rainy Sunday?
I spend most of my Second Life time hanging out, going to clubs, and exploring the showcase builds with friends. I tried building and will probably one day try it again, but mostly I like to see the amazing things that other people with a passion for it can create. My girlfriend has some amazingly talented friends that seem willing to put up with me, so each day lately is often a "wow" experience or an adventure of some sort. (Like yesterday when we went looking for parcels to squat on a la Pappy Enoch! Thank you Pappy, you am great!)
My look is not something I spend a lot of time on. I’m just glad people seem to like it. My screen is usually focused on whatever is around me, most often my incredibly gorgeous girlfriend Debbie, so what I’m wearing at any given time is usually a mystery to me. Attach it, hope for the best and forget it is my fashion philosophy.
In real life, I live in the UK and that can cause some late nights, with SL based on US Pacific time and many of my friends based in the US. I sometimes wonder if the next major evolutionary development will be to produce people who require very little sleep so they can work all day and still have a rich real life AND a fun virtual life. The balance is all.

it’s kinda strange that every time post sixx has a guy pose, someone pops up and says its about time. the current photographer has produced a lot of male avatars here and throughout its history it has featured many males.
