Black Cloud: “Brutal and Long Lasting” Mafia Wars Coming

I had just stepped off the plane on my way back to the Herald offices in Jessie sim after several weeks of intensive training on "The Bonnie Situation" - the newest Herald racing yacht - when my iMojowire 4 started buzzing. There was breaking news from a mysterious source who calls himself "The Black Cloud".
If my anonymous source was to be believed, a Second Life mafia war could be imminent. But in the hall of mirrors that is teh interwebs, who can you trust? Was the Black Cloud's note legitimate - or had overexposure to Porkrind Neva's constant Google bombing and multi-syllabic gibberish corroded another poor soul's ability to think rationally?
The Wrong Hands chat with Green Lantern Excelsior - and I make a new e-friend
Normally I would have shrugged it all off, but the Justice League Unlimited had been unusually active over the the last few days, and Green Lantern Excelsior was spotted chatting up the The Wrong Hands faction at their base in Revolution sim.
I arrived too late to witness the entire JLU/TWH tête-à-tête first hand, but when Green Lantern Excelsior accepted my friendship request I knew the situation was more than serious. A close reading of the Black Cloud's warning only confirmed my worst fears:

Nicholas Mafia & Stracci Famiglia, the newer alliance to hit SL are being targeted by a Mafia you claimed was killed out by 187, The family group we gave to DD was indeed an actual dummy group (Referring to your cover on the 187 vs. Carona Mafia war). We are back after months of preparation and now we have Stracci and Nicholas joint in a corner crying over youtube comments and constatly IMing us in SecondLife trying to troll their way out, We also included an Anonymous friend in this tiff to help shake things up a little, A further group whom you are familiar with are working behind the scenes too.
The attacks to come are going to be brutal and long lasting, we will hit with not only SL attacks but expose those of the groups and take down their websites with either defacement, DDOS and not forgetting infecting download links on their blogs/sites. The Sherlock database which Cal developed to grab peoples IP's which is currently being used to expose innocent SL residents is also being targeted and WILL be found, Cal tried to laugh this situation off but we know he isn't laughing because they're now sat adding people on facebook trying hopelessly to get our RL info.
We are a Real Life group as well as SecondLife now and will stop at nothing,

I think there needs to be a bit more information with these “brutal and long lasting” mafia wars such as:
- Do we need a hallpass to view?
- Is this an afterschool club?
- Does it take place on the school playground?
- Will there be chaperones?
- Can we use stolen lunch money to buy snacks?

I didn’t believe this so I went to see for myself. Within moments of taking a copy my Linden balance was in six figures, Brad Pitt was offering to make movie star secks at me and my hayfever cleared up.

But why are groups like these consistantly being called a mafia.
Usually, their methods of activity are DOS attacks, hacking, griefing and trolling and making others look bad.
