Bronte Ceriano — Post 6 Grrrrl

by Alphaville Herald on 14/04/10 at 11:46 am

[It was my lucky day when I asked last week's Post 6 Grrrl Joan Philbin to pose, because she dragged along her friend Bronte Ceriano. Bronte not only posed for one of the shots in last week's feature, she also agreed to be this week's Post 6 Grrrrl. Working with both Bronte and Joan was one of the most amazing experiences I've had because they simply crackle with brilliant and exciting ideas. It is a real treat for me to introduce the very talented Bronte Ceriano, this week's Post 6 Grrrl ~Timothy Morpork]

Bronte Ceriano

Hello, my name is Bronte, I have been in Second Life for just over a year and a half, and I love every minute here. This virtual world is so magical and exciting, with so many wonderful places to explore, and fun things to do- every day is a new adventure.

Most important of all are my friends, I have met such awesome and talented people here, and I never stop being amazed at their incredible creations. Sometimes I get to build with one, or attempt a cool outfit with another, or just dance the night away in some hot and sassy dress they created.

My best friend here is Joan Philbin who posed for you last week. She and I, as she said last week, are a design team even when we’re not getting paid to be. I comb the freebie bins and sales to accessorize the skins, shapes, clothes and other things she makes. We are constantly shifting and changing our looks because hey, it’s our world and we use our imaginations. :-)

When Timothy invited Joan to pose, she invited me along too and I was thrilled that she asked me to join her in one of her pics. We all got along so well, and I was even more thrilled when Timothy asked me to be the Post6 Grrrl this week…..I just jumped at the chance because it is so much fun, and Timothy is such a sweet and patient guy……so here I am!

I thought it would be twice the fun if Joan and I posed together, and I was so happy that she agreed. We have had such a fun time planning and searching for our looks. Joan of course made all of our Shapes and Skins, she is the talented one! Our final looks went from a "wouldn’t it be cool if we…" to posing for Timothy in just a few hours, original shapes included, which I hope you like! I am the one in the front of all the shots by the way.

As a partner in Joan’s design business, I keep pretty busy in-world, but it’s a good busy because we make people beautiful, (or fugly, if that’s what they asked for :-) A day at the virtual office here with Joan is not much different than a day when we’re not working- we’re always creating and sculpting and shopping anyhow, so it’s like the best job I can imagine.

Well that’s me, I hope we make you smile, because this was just so much fun, and seeing as there are two of us, you can be twice as nice…………*grins and winks*

Thanks guys, be happy <3

I like your eyes, @ the girl in front, but your boobs are way to small. Lets see some awesome prim boobs for once, (and don’t look for freak shows, you can do that with regular avies so thats not fair to either of us.)

Yay! Another literate poster with things to say who (apparently) is not involved in the SL sex industry or RPing sexual violence!

Thank you for the write-up, Bronte, which I enjoyed reading.

Keep it up, Timothy, you are on a roll!

What kind of sickness is this with these perverts ogling cartoon characters? Praise God you don’t live next to me.

    @Tuomy

I think they’re elves or fairies something. That’s why they have big eyes, the better to see retards like you.

I agree with Sententia and Scylla, this is a win for Morpork.

Thanks for showing us your work Bronte and Joan.

    There no such sure signs.
    Why should there be?

    @ photographer and models

Nice pictures, nice story, nice girls.
The pointy ears in picture one look fun.
I wonder if you have those in real life?

I love the positive look Bronte has on life! Don’t know why you talk about her eyes, she is dressing up in different skins and shapes to show a sample of what her friend can make. The eyes in pic 1 and 3 look very realistic in size. It’s just the makeup in pic 3 that is a bit exaggerated.
If I wanted to look at “realistic” stuff I would take a walk in a grocery store in RL, to look at all the “real” people. SL is for fun and over-the-top makeup and stuff that isn’t possible in RL. Like ears and wings and to walk in high heels all the time ;-)

Thanx for wearing the foresty fairy set I made whoever is in the background on pic 2! Things like this give me inspiration to keep going with my crazy fairy/elven/forest themes, I am in love with everything from that genre:) Love the pics Timothy, the grain filter in the first one is a fave of mine.
