Could Sims 2 Baby BBQ Seriously Help SL Survive?

Or will Second Life users' hate and fear of change destroy the metavese?
by Omelet ex-Linden, concerned shareholder
Recently I was talking with my last two inside-the-Lab contacts - Sensipoo and Hubris Linden - about Second Life's trajectory, which inevitably ends in oblivion. As usual, Sensipoo Linden broke into tears at the thought of criticism of Second Life. Meanwhile Hubris Linden and I pondered the words of Linden Lab founder Philip Rosedale, who once warned SL's most dedicated users, “Try not to cling too tightly to what we have now... [coming] changes are sometimes going to be disruptive and painful.”
point and click navigation now - BBQ later?
Hubris reminded me that disruptive and painful change has been the key to destroying all player trust in the Linden Lab, so more of the same would certainly help. But what could the Lab do beyond Facebook integration and point-and-click avatar navigation to save Second Life - and upset current players? Then it hit us. Second Life needs to copy The Sims 2 with special Baby BBQs to meet the needs of the seriously underserved virtual cannibalism market.
After watching a few YouTube videos, the path forward was clear. Hubris Linden promised me that soon all Linden Homes will include realistic grills suitable for disposing of prim babies and Second Life will be saved - unless the current players make Sensipoo Linden cry again.

“And I don’t just mean internally to the world through politics (because that’s normal and acceptable) but externally too, metagaming the experiences of others through corrupt viewers, external databases of alts and so on. ”
In all fairness, there were problems long before Emerald and such. And I mean *years* before it.
I agree that the full blame falls with LL, for not doing enough to stop people from trying to run ohers’ second lives and in some cases even lending full support to them as the case was with JLU.
But all in all, the problems caused by other residents could (and can) easily be avoided. Even things like greifing is easily avoided and/or ignored. Turning particles off fixes particle bombs lagging, turning sound off fixes screaming cubes, and sitting down avoids being pushed around.
Not once in my 5 years have I had a problem caused by other residents, only had problems caused by LL themselves.
Like the irritation I feel every time they add new chrome to the junkpile before fixing the technical problems that have been plagueing SL from the start.
And not only technical, also social. People getting banned for seemingly no good reason while known griefers are even being offered jobs at LL.
I know, dead horse and different departements, but I still feel that where money is spent by LL on ‘new shiney’ would be better spent on bugfixing and finally, finally making SL a stable running program.
The biggest problem with SL is still ineptitude of the Lindens. Or carelessnes, I cant figure out if they simply dont care or that it is that they simply miss intelligence to figure it all out. Maybe a little bit of both.

A poor justification called “creativity” to justify escapism, unhappiness and addiction. These games are dreamlands and a trap for unhappy people.
Best thing would be disappearance of these lame virtual universe in which people get trapped.
Of course addicts will deny they are … sigh !!

All these virtual universe including these stupid social network are the bane of human social interaction. It will be a huge problem in 5 or 10 years. Its a drug but autorities will not see it before long…
