Interview with Aurora Ivy: What happens when good kids fall in with bad sims!

The past few weeks there have been rumors floating around Alphaville that Aurora Ivy was an avatar run by Evangeline. I am now in a position to categorically say that she is not Van. At least a dozen sims have come forward to vouch for her. Everyone affirms that she is a sweet 13 year old kid who has been in the game for over a year. She *did* however, briefly fall in with Evangeline and was pressured into participating in one of his scams. In this interview Aurora Ivy explains how she fell into Evangeline?s orbit and participated in one of his scams, talks about what she saw at Free Money For Newbies, and talks about life as a 13 year old on the mean streets of Alpha.

Aurora Ivy:
So what is the interview about?

Oh, what it’s like to be a kid in alphaville

But umm Im not exactly a kid

Urizenus:

Theres alot of 13′s in AV

Aurora Ivy:
Yup I’ve met over at least 15

Urizenus:

I?ve even met 11′s and 10′s year olds

Urizenus:
What are some of the hassles you guys run into?

Aurora Ivy:
…Umm being misunderstood, for 1

Aurora Ivy:
But as for that I dun think I?ve ran into many hassles

Urizenus:
well, people thought you were evangeline…

Aurora Ivy:
That makes me angry

Urizenus:
how did that happen?

Aurora Ivy:
Ok ok Ill tell the whole truth =(

Urizenus:

Nick or lilith’ ?

Had received a message from Voleur [Evangeline]

Aurora Ivy:
She asked him if he would ask me if i wanted to do one of her stunts

Aurora Ivy:
So i accepted cuz i was bored

Urizenus:
does he live with her?

Aurora Ivy:
..Not no more

Urizenus:
but he did?

Aurora Ivy:
ya he did

Aurora Ivy:
They turned on each other

Urizenus:

I got interested in voleur when he did [live with her]

Urizenus:

But anyways so the plan was i would be her bait

Aurora Ivy:
And i would act like i won 5mill

Aurora Ivy:
I guess she was ONLY being nice to me cuz i was his [lilith?s] friend

Urizenus:
so you met evangeline/voleur, and she was nice to you?

Aurora Ivy:
She backstabbed me

Aurora Ivy:
But besides that

Urizenus:
how did she backstab you?

Aurora Ivy:
Complicated

Urizenus:
we have time (or I do)

Aurora Ivy:
ya but its really stressing

Aurora Ivy:
After i pretended to win 5mill

Aurora Ivy:
I soon took the “OMG i won 5mill at voleurs” right off my bio and went back to things as usual

Aurora Ivy:
I didn’t think anyone would care

what did you get for doing that?

Urizenus:

Umm nothin

Aurora Ivy:
Except people believe this lie

Urizenus:
so why did you do it

Aurora Ivy:
I dunno cuz at first i thought it would be coool

Aurora Ivy:
But then it turns out It wasn?t all it got me was in a big lie

Urizenus:
did you think it was cool to be in with evangeline?

Aurora Ivy:
No i would just hang at her house

Aurora Ivy:
I never would LIVE there or SCAM

Urizenus:
was it fun to hang there?

Aurora Ivy:
Ya a lil despite all the people bein called ugly

Aurora Ivy:
But I think Skull sims [sims with skulls for heads] , well lets just say I dun like those things

Urizenus:
well, what was that like, watching newbies being slapped and called ugly and being scammed?

Aurora Ivy:
Well It was really mean

Aurora Ivy:
But i mean its just a game

Urizenus:
did you feel bad for the newbies?

Aurora Ivy:
I was a newbie once

Aurora Ivy:
I had been treated like that in EJ

Aurora Ivy:
So i know the feeling even i was scammed when i was new

Aurora Ivy:
But ya

Aurora Ivy:
=( its not cool to make others feel bad I mean some people get that enough in RL

Urizenus:
so you just sat and watched the scamming and abuse?

Aurora Ivy:
Yes…

Aurora Ivy:
And I regret that now

Urizenus:
did you watch van and Celestie lock newbies in the freezer?

Aurora Ivy:
..I never saw that?

Aurora Ivy:
Did she really do that

Aurora Ivy:
I saw her once put someone in 4 walled room with no door

Urizenus:
that’s the freezer

Urizenus:
I saw her cage a black sim and call her a monkey.

Aurora Ivy:
…Dang that is cruel racism ICK so rude and evil

Urizenus:
what about the way black sims were treated.

Aurora Ivy:
I never saw that

Aurora Ivy:
Soon my friends were pleading me not to go there so now I no longer go there

Aurora Ivy:
I wasn’t there ALL the time

Urizenus:
Let’s talk about other things you’ve seen in Alphaville. what are some places you’ve been to that gross you out.

Aurora Ivy:
…Uhh I see lots of places and they usually always have this word…

Aurora Ivy:
*Sex*

That very much grosses me out that much of the game is this

Urizenus:
how do you get in those place?

Aurora Ivy:
lol I don’t go to them at all really i popped in some once or twice just to see

Urizenus:
ic, and they didn’t interest you

Aurora Ivy:
Pfft Im 13 Do u think I’m gonna be a young whoar NO!

of course not

LOL, same goes for your other friends that are 13?

I dunno what goes threw their minds

I don’t go there anymore i hope her house dies

so you go to regular skill places.

I go to money houses and skill houses so ya

So not really then sometimes i watch TV and move the mouse every 5 minutes

Because i am used by other people

And people will say they won’t remove it till a friend gives them their money

Do you and the other 13&14 year old players get together and talk about problems you have in the game?

Uhh Nope

I usually talk about RL stuff

Urizenus:
so you don’t hang with them?

Aurora Ivy:
Huh what u mean by hang?

Urizenus:
so you talk about RL problems? by hang I mean chat.

Aurora Ivy:
Ahh yes I chat with my 13 year friends on here

Urizenus:
so that must be nice

Aurora Ivy:
yes =)

Aurora Ivy:
Like if I was sick or if someone in RL stole my money or RL things like those

Urizenus:

Aurora Ivy:
Yep

Locking people up and slapping and scamming

So No more hanging with them hopefully if everyone in AV stops going there we won?t have this problem

    OK, I’m setting the record straight, and if any of you don’t want me to, too fucking bad. And if any of you dont believe me, then that’s your own problem, not mine.

    First of all, I know Aurora closely, as do I Van, they’re both my friends, and I know for a fact that they’re not one in the same. I agree with Dyerbrook, I am always spending time with Aurora, and I was Evangeline’s roommate for about a month. Aurora is 13, Evangeline is about 17 I would guess. I have seen both of their webcams, they do not act the same, and as Dyerbrook stated, it’s hard to fake a personality for a long period of time, much less a year. They type, act, and do things much differntly than each other. Van is a “Ghetto superstar” and Aurora is a 13 year old goth kid. For any of you (like Phin) that don’t even play the game but accuse Aurora of “being Van” and “being a 42 year old man who lives up the street from me”, burn in Hell.

    As for you Felicia, just because you can speak one langugage more than me, and you’re proably 40 years older than me, doesn’t necessarily make you smarter than me. Or more intellectual for that matter. I’m more creative than you’ll ever be, I know more about computers than you ever will (don’t try to beat me about computers, wench). And I also know more about society than you. True, I have not the right to judge what you know, but for the way you act towards me, and in game, I’m pretty sure this all is true. Besides, at least I know my own limitations, and I know when I’m beaten. Two things you can’t say.

    Lastly, to all you fucks who think I’m just babling, you suck. And for those of you who think I’m stupid and don’t know what I’m talking about, you suck.

    Who put the Straw in Strawberry? That’s right nature did. Who put the Ape in Apricot? That’s right, nature did. Now listen carefully. Who put the Freak in Intelligence in you? That’s right, there aint no freak in intelligence in you. That’s what I’ve been trying to tell you, that there aint no freak in intelligence in you.     I’m 13 and I knew Van for a while (not that she liked me) and then I came to her house, did a few things, and asked her to roomie me, so she did. Then we became friends.

    As for you Annomous, Aurora is me friend, like I said I’m eternally sorry, who are you to pass judgment on me? I’ll rot wherever I want, regardless of what you want.
