If the whispered rumors are true – and the over-the-top chatlog is real – the position the Alliance Navy leadership finds itself in must be excruciating. Former Admiral Nanao Mahfouz was allegedly involved in roleplaying incest ageplay with Jezabeth Poutine when a bullet with a scripted chatspy bug was fired into the home where the couple was enjoying some interactive creative writing. The bugged bullet relayed the chatlogs out of the love nest, and the drama began.
Jezabeth has had some wild adventures with Nanao
Cyber sex is as common as lag in Second Life – but certain conventions are generally observed. Cyber in open chat is frowned upon as an invitation to trouble, and Linden Lab takes an extremely dim view of anything that appears to encompass sexual ageplay. But when the improvisational literary lust is rising, some residents are known to shortcut safe-cyber as their muses invent, and then engage in some rather sordid scenes. The virtual sex chat narrative is dutifully logged by Linden Lab as it is relayed between participants, and other residents with the right sorts of virtual spyware can share in the fun – then pass the logs on. And this brings us to the story of a certain Admiral in the Alliance Navy.
The logs of the Mahfouz-Poutine encounter include detailed descriptions of Nanao’s impressive physique – with a penis, a second penis, and a tail. Also impressive was the consistent use of plurals in descriptions of Nanao’s twin tools – staying in character is the first rule of roleplay – though what sort of soldiers the Alliance Navy has been recruiting could be a subject of speculation.

Could this explains how Admiral Mahfouz suddenly was out of the AN and an ex-Admiral to boot? But ex-Admiral Mahfouz is the titular owner of the Dorien sim where the Alliance navy base is located, and he was quickly reinstated in the AN after a one week absence, although he lost his rank and had to repeat basic training.
Our sources tell us that a certain amount of blackmail vigorous negotiation took place as the AN leadership considered what the loss of the Dorien sim land could mean — possibly another furry death camp. Meanwhile, ex-Admiral Mahfouz may have been concerned about the Linden governance team swinging the ban stick as they clean the metaverse of undesirables in preparation for M Linden’s appearance at the Second Life 5th birthday celebration.
Seeking the reaction of rank and file Alliance navy troops, I stopped by the Dorien base, where Izaea Qinan explained the situation to me:
Izaea Qinan: Nanao was one of two members who was, in his off time, roleplaying on private land.

Izaea Qinan: I think the fact that nothing came of it speaks better than anything else to the fact that nothing was really happening. And as it was two people, on personal, mature land, enjoying themselves together, Well… people will go to great lengths to try and smear us as a group. Personal attacks are a time-honored tradition. What two adults do in their own homes on their own time is their own damn business. It’s just an attempt to cause drama. LL is quick to ban ANYTHING resembling ageplay. Hell, look at the fifth birthday drama. The fact that both of the people are still around tells you what LL thought of it.
So the possibility of chatlog fabrication or doctoring cannot be discounted, particularly given the tense state of affairs between the various metaverse militia – certainly an organized effort seems to have been mounted to abuse report ex-Admiral Mahfouz.
A number of questions remain – given the apparent long-term relationship between Mahfouz and Poutine and the presumption that they are both adults — is engaging in some improvisational literary activities free speech, or have they crossed the line into broadly offensive behavior? Is double-cocked ageplay in textchat is an issue for Linden Lab? What if one of the participants has a tail?
Happily for the ex-Admiral, none of this appears to be grounds for permanent removal from the Alliance Navy – if you own the land the base is on.

Okay, I look at this article and I see dozens of problems. Including the fact that the writer completly ignored the TOS and also ignored everything said by another Admiral on the matter. Plain and simply, this whole article needs to be taken down completely, as it is one of the worst examples of journalism I have ever seen.

As you could have asked any member of the AN – and, if I’m not mistaken, you did – about Nanao’s leaving, I find it interesting that you still choose to pander. The former Admiral Mahfouz left of his own volition; he explained his reasons for leaving at great length in the AFFP [Application for Former Personnel] which was later circulated within the rank and file of the AN.
He has given his word – and I for one believe him – that he’s not going to pull Dorien, and he had promised this regardless of whether his AFFP was accepted or not.
As a member of high command, I have to wonder who your “sources” are who claim some manner of blackmail – have you been listening to Ethan Schuman? That seems to be his kick of late – but this is exactly what happened. High command first had a meeting to see if we should re-instate him directly as an admiral. After voting no, we went ahead and processed his AFFP like any other – he passed, joined training like any other recruit/cadet, and joined the Air Division, where he has been since.
The sex? It played no factor in any part of this. It was not mentioned -once- at the high command meeting about reinstatement. I’m not speaking for the AN or for High Command, but I feel that a person’s sex life is their sex life, and unless you happen to be having sex in the bunkers in Dorien, it doesn’t have much at all to do with the AN. We have members who roleplay in Gor, which involves some amount of misogyny and abuse. We have members who roleplay in Doomed Ship, which is focused on tentacle rape. I, as I told you, used to be a sex worker, and that money paid for my first several guns, as a matter of fact. Your article states my reasoning for saying that the logs did not depict ageplay; there were a salvo of abuse reports fired off, and both members are still around. Without the ageplay, this is only incest – a fantasy that is perfectly legal to enact in SL. If someone in high command believed that a legal bit of fantasy would “be grounds for permanent removal from the Alliance Navy,” I would have very little respect for them.
And as long as I’m on a quoting stint… what the daylights is “though what sort of soldiers the Alliance Navy has been recruiting could be a subject of speculation” supposed to mean?

Last I remember, Nanao didn’t really hide the fact that he got pretty freaky, I know there’s plenty of pictures of him out there in the nude, which they slapped everywhere when the chans bought that land in emit time. I figured this was something the AN recognized and dealt with, though that log does border on suspiciously freaky.

I didn’t have a thing to do with this, Izaea. I knew nothing about the article until I heard “HOLY SHIT! HERALD! HERALD! NOW!” over Ventrilo. While I’ll freely admit that I laughed when I saw it, that was more of a “Wow, it took this long to happen?” laugh. I personally don’t agree with this, but I’m sure the responsible parties have good reasons to justify their actions. If not, this is just another setback for progress.

Every one of you who has come into our vents, or on our bases, in the past month, have whined about how much you’d like to get rid of Nanao, how much the admiralty would love to get rid of him, except that the sim Dorien is in his name and he is refusing to turn it over (even tho the AN membership as a whole raised the money that paid for the sim in the first place) as blackmail to prevent you all from turning him in. It was one of your own members who released the log of the chatspy (the only thing I doubt is that it was a bullet, I suspect it was just another member nearby who modded his own public chatlog) to members of other militaries, hoping one of us would have the scrotal fortitude to do what is right but which you lack the balls to do yourselves.
AN have apparently made arrangements to move the AN base to another estate, so they will soon be rid of Nanao and his twisted fetishes. All they have to recover now is their honor, sullied by their association with this turd. the problem, is fantasy VS reality. If you cannot see the difference and are convinced that fantasy -is- reality, you have a problem, that’s not normal, and you need help.

I am avenged. We in Voter 5 have known Nanao (Nano, eh? Two e-peens? sounds like overcompensation to me) was a complete and utter freak since our epic victory at Emit Time. If anybody doubted at the time that this asshat was any sort of pillar of rectitude (rectumtude, ya, pos def), should be under no illusions now.
The Furry Death Camp was a political statement, nothing more, a satirical metaphor for the inhuman and twisted sexual sociopaths that lead the AN at the time: Harlequin and Nanao. Of course, the AN have no sense of humor that they are aware of, and failed to see the man in the mirror being held up to their faces. Many seem to have done so now, however, and are disgusted at what they see. Here is to hoping they free themselves of this freakshow asap.

People have been after Nanao and Harlequin since they left the mercz, and maybe before, but shit like this really smells of someone like Ethan, not saying it is Ethan, but I wouldn’t put it past him, since the mercz have been so low as to find Harlequin IRL information and spread it to people in there group. So unless I see it for myself I can care less about so called chat logs of child/incest.

While it’s probably impossible to prove without violating the privacy mandated by the Terms of Service, chances are pretty good the two people involved were in different states. This supports the requirement of it being an interstate exchange.
However, it could also have taken place over the borders of two different countries, in which case it would be difficult to determine which of the two countries’ laws (if either) would apply.

Pictures or it didn’t happen eh? All I see is two adults on a beach, around the same time as the some called legit log. I don’t see pictures of chat history or them actually going at it. Also, I don’t see a child avatar to suggest that this was a picture of ageplay. All I see, is that you took two pictures of them sitting on the beach. Okay, I will say this once. When the supposed event actually happened, and as I had gotten the so called evidence I was able to check the locations and was actually online at the time it supoposedly happened, neither of the people were actually on the AN sim. For all of you saying that this is the AN’s responsibility, you are wrong. If this did actually happen, it happened on a sim completely seperate from the AN sim.
