Fayette Aeon — Post 6 Grrrrrl
by Alphaville Herald on 23/03/11 at 10:40 pm
My better half was out shopping one day and met Fayette Aeon when she noticed that they were both doing the same circuit of stores. The two hit it off, and with some cajoling, Fayette agreed to pose for Post 6. It is an honor to introduce the lovely and talented Fayette Aeon, our friend and now, Post 6 Model. ~Timothy Morpork
Hiya!
My name is Fayette Aeon but I usually just go by Faye. My rez day is the 16h of November 2007. I love to go exploring, dancing and shopping. I used to do a lot of vampire role-playing before my group dissipated because of real-life needs.
I made a few friends when I first got to SL that I have been able to call my best friends. They are the ones out of my old list of 200 friends that actually stuck around and have my back. Now I have fewer friends but of better quality. If you ever want to chat me up please IM me and I am sure we will find something in common.
As of late I take pictures, which I have been practicing and enjoying as a hobby for over 3 years now. I also do a little role-playing on a Firefly sim called Hale's Moon. When I am not role-playing or hanging out with friends I am working on my blog. My blog is more for me to keep busy, and work on other whatnots. (http://fayes-fantastic-fashions.blogspot.com/)
I love hanging out with my friends, finding new fashions and organizing my inventory. I also enjoy making new shapes for myself and friends if they want one. I try to make shapes that are either different or, sometimes, something realistic. Anything creative, I try to do. Building I kinda enjoy but don't have the patience to keep it going.
I am a very outgoing person, who loves to make friends. My friends do range in personality. My friends have told me that I am a nice person, that I own at least one of everything in SL, and have a great fashion sense. I think sometimes they just say that to be nice, but I honestly don't mind. I am in my mid 20s, currently live in Cambridge, United Kingdom and am interested in almost anything.

I said:
“Do you really think anyone believes you are trying to “improve” anything with statements like that?”
Orca said:
No, i don’t believe that. How did you get such a stupid idea?
From you, when you called your bitchery “Constructive Criticism” which is, by definition, supposed to improve that which is being criticized, and from comments like this “Also, if we’d go the American way and restrict ourselves to only post bullshit politcal [sic] correct feelgood comments we’d never see better Post 6s” which implies that you believe Timothy actually reads your miserable hunt and peck drivel to improve this column.
By all means, keep talking, it’s fun to watch your sad little brain trying to get purchase on concepts.
@Nelson
Seems to me you’re the trollee more than the troller on this blog, maybe you should rethink your position here.

On the positive side, if there can be one, this has to be a record for the number of comments on a Post 6 article..

I just checked and it certainly beats the infamous Penance Sautereau Post 6 debacle which only achieved 45 comments.
http://alphavilleherald.com/2007/10/penance-sautere.html
But then Penance was a debacle all by herself as I recall. Those were glorious days
So, were there any Post 6 features that garnered greater quantities of comments or have we indeed found a new champion?

If nothing else, at least you can take pride in the fact that you are not so illusioned that you think your penis is a 5-inch-long clitoris.

I would presume that Penance or one of her models still holds the record for most comments, those of you that are longtime readers will recall that Penance got loose in the Herald’s back-end one weekend and deleted a number of her articles and hundreds of negative comments. I don’t think Pix was ever able to properly restore them all despite valiant effort.
We’ll call that the golden age of herald comments. They even had Jimbo Quality as their comment wrangler.
Since then, I seem to remember a couple of Gorean models that got up into the 70-80 comment range, and there was an anorexic model a couple of years ago that got over 60. So this is a good effort, but is not a record even if it bests the Goreans imho, as the Penance posts are still gone missing.

Yes, I do have Asperger’s. I had to look this up.
Peaches Limondi 68
Heidi Hastings 68
Mairead McConnell 65
Emily Fields 61
Marx Dudek 59
Fayette Aeon 58*
*60 with the one I just left and one I am typing now
A Post 6 Grrrl New Year, which featured three models, had 57. Several others have recently cracked 50 comments including Carine Ceriano (52) and Kasandra Rage (52).
In a Roger Maris/Barry Bonds asterisk moment, model Ono Shelman is the unofficial queen of comments- she received 49 for her original post and then another 65 when her pictorial was immediately republished with her pictures censored.
As can be seen from the above list in which five of the top 6 comment attracting models were selected by Timothy Morpork, his pictures generate exponentially more comments than any of the previous photographers.** He may not be great shakes with a camera but he can certainly attract trolls.
**This does not include Penance Sautereau’s models, for whom there is no data.

That’s right, I remember us all waking up to find Penance had been on a chainsaw rampage, deleting virtually every post and article she could find that showed her to be clinically insane. Didn’t she also turn up at the first ever Post 6 party too and cause a fracas?
And all I got was 12 comments. I shall go and live under a rock with the other sub-normals 8V
(At least I did fix my boobs following the comments so all was not lost)
had enough

Oh fucking waaaa. go roleplay everyone liked your story and STFU.

@ Mr. Asperger Meets the Herald
You misused the word “exponentially”. It refers to a trend of numbers that increase each time by a higher factor – 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128… would be exponentially increasing, since they’re all powers of two. You can’t compare two numbers (or, in this case, the averages of two sets of numbers) and say that they’re “exponentially higher”, since you can’t model an exponential graph using only two points.

Without going into details about Romulan’s latest post, since I clearly had enough of his spitefull shite, I’ll just ask:
What do you want from me, jackass?
Admit it, you don’t give a crap about the Post 6 model, you’re on to something else. You’re angry because I said I find roleplaying stupid and boring. Is it that what drives you to use the same argument over and over again? Rest assured, it doesn’t become any better, more valuable or true through repetition. Just more annoying.
Ok, to answer your questions:
Yes, I do believe Timothy reads the comments. Of course he does, it’s kinda his job to reda the feedback to his column. That’s what the comments section is intended for.
Yes, I do believe that reading and intellectually digesting the comments will lead to a better product in the long run.
That doesn’t prove me wrong, does it? No, please, don’t answer!!!
I’m not personally trying to change anything or make it better. I’m just commenting. Sometimes clever, mostly not so much, often even a bit mean. So my job as consumer is done. Finished. Dealing with people like you (what are they called in the USA? “Anklebiter”,”Terrier”, “Dog with a bone”?) is just a bonus, a service I offer freely.
What Mr Morpok does with all the coments is his business and his alone.

Well, Pix’s too one would suppose…
How come we’ve never had a Post 6 Dwarf?
We’ve had pointy ears before i’m sure. And robots and dogs and stuff…
Is Mr Morpork heightist?
Am I right Mr. Asperger? Senban?

Haha someone needs to go back and catalogue all the Post 6 models of yore (which is even further back than yesteryear I’m informed).
I know we’ve had a Post 6 Plywood Cube thanks to Obvious Schism
Perhaps Mr Asperger could create a list for us?

Nelson you are just plain boring commenting about grammar. You are a lousy troll. This is the internet and no one here cares that much about about grammar. This is a message board not an English final. You are just looking for excuses to post more comments on here. Please spend your time commenting on the article instead of disecting everyone’s comments. I guess you are not capable of thinking up something original to say.

Senban,
You’re awesome. I don’t know how’re you’re scraping yer data, but I think all the Post 6 articles are tagged “Sex, Cybersex and Beyond” so if you click “News” then choose “Sex, Cybersex and Beyond” they are all there for you- easy pickens.

Marilyn – the Post 6 feature goes back to 2004 but some of the early pictures have gone missing. I think Jimbo Quality was using them to make the nest he was sleeping in underneath the printing press at one point, which would not have been a problem except for that unfortunate incident with the crap Moet champagne, self-identical mega-prims, peacock, and the ill-tempered mouse. The less said about that, the better.
The first post 6 is here: http://alphavilleherald.com/2004/12/introducing_her.html

This is a message board not an English final.
Contradicting yourself aren’t you?
When posting to a message board one should have enough courtesy to type to the best of one’s abilities, in order not to anger and confuse one’s dear readers. That’s basic respect and politeness. Also, as you brought the school/test thing up, why should we post as if we never attended a school at all? Just to show grammar isn’t important? Just to stay far below your possibilities, just to show that you don’t give a flying fuck about your own language?
I, as a ESLer, am always happy to see well worded and executed posts. They help me to understand better and to learn.

Timothy:
With all the beautiful women in Second Life, why is it that you specialize in finding the most hideous miscreants plaguing the grid in which we live. This girl would be pretty were it not for her “elf” ears. Any hint of originality she might have vanishes with the ears — a tell tell sign that rather than opting for originality, she instead choses to be a “sheeple,” latching on to things that might have been cute in 2006 but have long since lost their cuteness.
