    Thank you for your support, Amanda :) But don’t worry, it appears that most of the negative comments on this comic have been written by the same person – if you look closely, you will find many clues to support this claim ;)

    Whoever is posting all these messages has a multiple personality disorder of some kind I think, and is doing their best to make it look as if I’m trying to say that I own Fox’s copyright over the alien, which I don’t own, and never claimed to own. The only thing I claimed was that I infringed on it. I have stated again and again, I created this avatar MYSELF, FROM SCRATCH, FOR FUN, and will be more than happy to delete it forever, if that is what Fox wishes. I created the avatar so it’s only right that I should destroy it! All I need is an email from Fox! (I’m currently in the process of writing an open letter to Fox, asking for their blessing to continue working on the avatar – hopefully they will respond this time, when I send the email out to every address that I can find in the links that were posted in the comments section for these comics – thank you for sending me the links, whoever you are!)

    To be honest, I suspect that it’s one of Zilu’s friends, paid or unpaid, attempting to smear my name and the comic in order to protect Zilu and his line of stolen merchandise. What’s funny though, is that I’m hoping for the comic to be about content theft and intellectual property rights abuses in Second Life, not about a personal battle between a few people. The characters in the story are just that – characters. For those of you who are paying attention, you will see that I’ve created an avatar that infringes on Fox’s intellectual property rights, and then TOLD EVERYONE ABOUT IT AND PUBLISHED IT IN A FREE COMIC! Gee, that’s a funny way of getting revenge!!!

    Anyway, here’s a nice little disclaimer that I guess I must put into future issues;

    THIS COMIC IS ABOUT COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS ABUSES, AND THE PROTECTION OR LACK OF PROTECTION OF THOSE RIGHTS IN A VIRTUAL WORLD. IT IS NOT ABOUT COKE SUPPLY, ZILU SCOFIELD, ALIEN28 XENO, OR DEREK THE BALD UFO CULTIST. THE CHARACTERS IN THE COMIC COULD HAVE BEEN ANY ONE OF US. I AM USING THEM TO TELL A STORY. MANY PARTS OF THE STORY HAVE BEEN BASED ON REAL EVENTS, AND THE REST IS JUST SHIT THAT I MAKE UP FOR A LAUGH. I WILL CONTINUE TO INJECT REAL EVENTS INTO THE STORY BECAUSE REAL POLICIES AND REAL LAWS HANDLE THOSE REAL SITUATIONS.

    …and for the guy attacking me under multiple different names…

    IF THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR YOU TO BEAR, THEN I SUGGEST THAT YOU READ SOMETHING EXCLUSIVELY FICTIONAL. I WILL CONTINUE TO RESPOND TO POSTS HERE IN THE FUTURE BUT PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE NO TIME ANYMORE FOR PEOPLE WITH MULTIPLE PERSONALITY DISORDERS THAT KEEP USING MULTIPLE DIFFERENT USERNAMES TO POST THEIR OWN TWISTED VERSION OF WHAT ZILU TELLS THEM IS THE STORY BEHIND THE COMIC.

    Only the first half of that disclaimer will appear in the comic in future though lol ;)

    And if you really think people are getting sucked into your psychosis and talking to Zilu, you need to up your dosages.

    Good luck filing an abuse report on something that violates trademark/copyright. And it sounds like LL is setting out to enforce it full on pretty soon here. Including replicas and things inspired by things that are TM (C)

    @Attention Whore/Drama Queen

    From wiki: An artist uses imagination, talent, or skill to create works that may be judged to have an aesthetic value.

    Talented? Yes.
    Skilled? Yes.
    Imaginative? Questionable.

    Artist?… Subject to interpretation… I say no.

    Drama queen and attention whore? 100%

    What I would give to see you and janeforyou to STFU… priceless.

    I saw you when you first made your sci-fi AV, I immediately thought “Alien” …THE ALIEN. Nothing imaginative on your part, not a unique interpretation. You inspired nothing new and still don’t. It’s a reproduction not a work of art. And your past anecdotes says the same … superman, freddie kruegar are reproductions not art.

    I don’t claim to have seen EVERYTHING that you have done but I know enough to see you are both talented and full of shyte. It’s no surprise your comics add so little to the dialog on IP theft, since on the basis of your ALIEN AV, Rosewell alien lookalike Xeno, etc. your claim as an artist appears to many as full of shyte.

    Your comic is not newsworthy, and not unique commentary or criticism, you don’t bring anything new to the dialog of IP theft in SL. It was old news even before your first comic. Look at other SLH articles that do inspire pages and pages of comments and trolling … your comics don’t come close because no one cares. I bet most of your positive feedback comes from your “Personal Attention Whoring Friends Peanut Gallery” (TM)(C) Copyright 2009 by ME LOL.

    As for why I’m commenting now … it’s only because I skim SLH on rare occasions and can’t resist giving this attention whore attention.

    @jane and attention whore
    Don’t think just because Fox et al don’t respond to letters means they consent to you using a creator’s/owner’s copyrighted works or trademarks. Next time someone sees coke’s ALIEN and thinks ALIEN the movie, or thinks it’s the coolest looking ALIEN, and nothing more … it means Coke is not an artist. Coke is a skilled scanner/copy machine. It doesn’t even have to do with LAW. It has to do with who can afford the best lawyer(s) (GUESS) and the cost/benefit of suing your arse off. So stop being so ignorant to think you can read the minds of their legal departments just because they ignore your letters or feel that you can infringe on copyrights/trademarks because no lawyer has asked you to stop.

    Drama queen, get off this comic and do something unique instead of ranting about old news and your photocopy ALIEN and other plagarized or imitated work. Here are words we can all relate to without all the legal b.s. …. PLAGIARISM, IMITATION. Surprise, surprise when I see Xeno I think rosewell … booooring. Coke’s alien et al … inspire nothing new. The fact that you spend time defending this comic the way you do says volumes.

    def: Plagarism – To use or closely imitate the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one’s own original work.
